food today:
3:15 am
1/2 can chicken & liver classic FF
9:15 am
whole can beef feast FF ate half right away grazed on rest until 10:30
11:35am 1/2 can FF chicken & liver classic ate right away
+4 test at 1:00 pm
1/2 can chicken & liver FF classic at 1:05 ate all right away
+6 test @ 3:00 pm
1/2 can FF chicken & liver classic at 3:05 ate 1/2 of it right away
1/8 can 9 Lives tuna & chicken pate at 7:20 pm

Angela does he act any different with these higher numbers? I hope he is acting and feeling ok. At least he has his appetite. :mrgreen:

Have you thought about maybe another insulin? I'm just not sure where to advise you to go with PZI, but his numbers look to be going in the wrong direction. angry(2)_cat

Thinking about other insulin but not sure I want to do that, with the round the clock testing and flatter numbers and because the ProZinc is flexible.
I want to give this new vial I opened this morning a chance, in the past it made a difference sometimes. But if I have to think about another insulin, I will if its best for him.
He acts like he feels great, better than usual, more active, climbing, jumping and playing, good appetite, no increase in drinking or peeing.
In my thoughts, these much higher AMPS started in early October, about the time he had the bumps on his face that were swabbed and had a bacterial infection that he took Cipro for 10 days for, but that is probably a coincidence.
Since last update on food
hes had another can of FF chicken feast classic from 9:15 pm - 1:00 am

Good Luck with the new vial. We are starting a new one this weekend also.....we now use a vial a month.

Come on Big Henry!! lets get those numbers down!
We are starting a new vial next week. hopefully that will help shakes too!
