Hi Beth!
How long before the test? I have to go out in 5 mins for about an hour then I’m back.
Why do you want to go straight to h c?
How’s his appetite?
Appy good ....seems when he hits low blue to green he has black bounces for several cycles after...testing now

+4 148....maybe I can manage this with the 14 MC ....gave another 1 t MC 14

At +3..... 178 point drop ( 2 t 12 MC)....at +3.5..... 53 point drop (1 t 14 MC)....at +4 ....28 point drop ( 1 t 14 MC)

Ok. I’m home now.
Elmo certainly likes the slippery slide
:woot: :woot: :woot: What do you think , Bron ? About trying to steer him into mid to upper blue ....SS shows how he goes black for several cycles when he dips low blue to green.... wanting to give him more time in blues to get him used to them ....

I’d like to have a good look at his SS but can’t at the moment but I think yes for today ...... blues .... he’s already down to 118 so maybe try keeping him around that.
When I have a chance I’ll have a good look at his SS.

Look forward to your thots on the SS ....the blacks that follow the low blues and greens....there is no other reason for them ...least that’s what I’ve surmised ...

+5.5. 131..... giving 1 t 10 LC to see if he will continue surfing ( his normal food is 2 LC )....what do you think , Bron ??

I’ll see what we get at +6 and go down to 6 LC....thinking to slide him down carb amount as well ....this dude makes you have to think creatively.... this all came to me since the last bounce....how could I experiment and do things differently .....we shall see :) Next lowest LC carb I have is 6 ....

Hope your DH birthday dinner was wonderful :bighug: DH is a September baby and I am October :) And how are the kookaburras?

We had a great night thanks.
Kookaburras are all fine...I think they will be bringing their babies over soon. I can hear them in the trees about 20 meters away.
Hi Sonia!

Sheba was a big diver and bouncer so I know how frustrating it is trying to get them to stay in low numbers without bouncing.

Bron, it makes me feel so good to know you’ve experienced this too...:bighug: Should I give the 2LC or no food and see what happens :nailbiting:

My thought too ....so you had many pj parties with Sheba ??? Did she ever stop bouncing ?
I had many PJ parties with Sheba. She could never be trusted to drop in a sedate manner. So I had to test frequently. I learn to fall asleep in-between 1/2 hourly tests without any trouble….probably from exhaustion....and I lived by the alarm on my mobile phone.
The bounces became less of a problem although she still did bounce but I learnt to manage them better by trying to control the drops which triggered them. She would be fine for a while and then she would break out and bounce again.
In the last several months she settled down to a lot more greens and blues.
She taught me patience.

:bighug::bighug::bighug: Wish I could nap....I’ve gotten to where when he does this I keep moving and get things done that I won’t tomorrow cos I’ll nap :)

Was Sheba not carb sensitive as Elmo isn’t ? I’m envious of kitties who easily can be carbed up :cat:
