Tons and tons of :bighug::bighug: and "Thank you's" for everyone's support yesterday. Praying that today is a better day.

Kinda surprised that AMPS isn't higher.

I have no idea how much that number is food influenced as I left 3oz of FF T&G out overnight for him to eat. He ate 1/2 before midnight sometime and the other 1/2 between midnight and 4am (yay!). So he got almost 6 oz in the last cycle (11/29PM). If my calculations are correct it is about 160 calories.

Meds (4am) Mirtz, Ondanstero, Pain Meds all in

He ate a bit more of the FF before his shot. And so it begins again.

Thank you for the info - I do not have a homeopathic or herbal vet so I don't know how I would proceed. Not even sure we have any in this area and, even though Houston is the 4th largest city, we don't have a lot of options (even for specialty food stores) which makes it a challenge. Do you have a link to the info?
 
We are hanging out in front of the space heater. I was cold and I though it might feel good to Gizmo. We are having a little love fest.

Here’s info about standard process. It’s available through vets who use them and through amazon, though I’ve found amazon listings to be way more expensive than getting through vets.

Looked on the American holistic vet association directory for Texas members: looks like there is one holistic vet in Houston. Dan Ahrens, DVM. Idk anything about him other than what’s listed there and quick look at his website.

Also here’s link for my “long distance” homeopathic vet, Charles Loops DVM who is in North Carolina does telephone consults and mails out remedies (he also is well versed with glandular supports) same day (priority mail or, if need faster, will overnight mail).

He only ate one can (FF) this morning but will continue the smorgasbord of offerings. He does seem a bit better - maybe not in as much pain? IDK - I sure wish his appy would pick up.

Haven't tried baby food recently but previously he wouldn't even look at it. It took him all cycle to eat the 3oz FF. I guess it is better than nothing. He has started to fight me on everything. Meds, testing, shot.

Can nausea meds mess with the appy? I am considering not giving tomorrow AM and see how he eats? Opinions?
 
Lizzie , I am so sorry :bighug: It’s hard when they go thru times like this and you’ve pulled every trick out of the hat you know . I am clueless ab anti nausea meds as I use Slippery Elm Bark first and it takes care of sick tummies . Of course adds in a layer of scheduling cos can’t be given within 2 hours of any medication . My kitchen cabinets can look like a hospital chart where I keep track of times/amounts ...big prayers going to you and Gizmo, that this clears soon :bighug::bighug:
