It has been a busy few days for this gal and her kitty.

He has been meowing a lot, I THINK in his litter box. I was thinking it was in part because 1. I have not been as on top of things as I should be about getting his LB cleaned out (bad mom) and 2. Thinking the one I have is too small.

So I did get a slightly bigger litter box which I shall be way more on top of getting cleaned out.

Friday I went shopping with my two sisters and my great niece. For myself, I got a new pot and pan set. I then did the FUN part of Black Friday shopping....each year my coworkers and I adopt a family or two for the holidays. This year by the time we got around to requesting, they were all taken. So instead, my coworkers did what my sisters and I have done for the past couple of years and donated seniors within our community for Christmas. For perspective, some of the requests were hot cocoa, socks, long underwear, coat, dog food, facial tissue and toilet paper. I also did my part for Small Business Saturday :)

Skooter is doing well other than the LB meowing. He is being cuddly and sweet.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend....tomorrow my sisters and I finish shopping for our senior and get everything wrapped and dropped off at the agency. Wish me luck on finalizing my Christmas cards and Skooter's....I am having trouble getting everything just right....
 
I'm glad Skooter is doing well. I hope the new lb helps with the meowing.

Whew. You are a busy woman. 'Tis the season, I guess.

Skoots is looking mah-va-lous. Simply smashing little man. Cuddly and sweet to boot.

Kinda funny that Skoots complains about the condition of his lb. My Patch would use only a pristine box. He'd walk around the house eying less appropriate potty spots until I got his box absolutely free on any other cat's deposits. I'f I wasn't quick enough, he's use those less appropriate spots. I got to be pretty quick!

:lol: on the lb critique. Cinco meows in the box, too, but he's usually announcing he has made a deposit. I'm not sure if he's just letting me know he's done his thing, since I keep track, or he's telling me to hurry and clean it up! :lol:

Sounds like you've been a busy girl. Adopting a senior is a wonderful idea. It gives you as much pleasure as it does the recipient, doesn't it? My only regret when I've done stuff like that is I didn't get to see the faces when the gifts were received.

Good luck on the cards. Mine are way down on my to do list. I'll probably end up using last year's design - I have no time to come up with a new one.

Skooter, how about you grab Cinco and drag him to the lagoon with you? He's been away from it too long and he misses his buddies, but I think he's forgotten the way there.
