I like waking up and seeing Simon in the 200's instead of the 400's like yesterday. Cleared the big bounce from all the HC food, I hope. Simon is alert and more interested in everything, although he still is not eating like normal. It is an effort to get him to finish all of his food, but I am not taking no for an answer. He finishes everything even if it means hand feeding him. He seems to respond best to that.

This afternoon, I get to see my niece dancing in the Nutcracker, as I have done for the last 10 years. This is her last year dancing with the company since she is graduating from high school next year. She has the coveted role of the Sugar Plum Fairy. I am very proud of her! Even though I can practically dance the whole performance myself since I have seen it SO many times, I will try to restrain myself from jumping on the stage. :-D

Looks like it is shaping up to be a wonderful day! Best wishes to your niece for a spectacular performance and to Simon to clean his plate tonight. You stay off the stage now you hear ;)

Morning Georgia ~O) ~O) ~O)

WOOT! We have a yellow amps!!! How awesome and WTG Simon. You surf well today. I am glad he is doing better. I remember that appy aspect of the p'itits well, it was much the same for Mannie. It just never was the same for him after that. I had to encourage, and it was not uncommon for us to go through several cans before he decided which one was appealing that day. We too got all we needed into him, just took a bit longer than my pre-p'titis kitty. Good appy vines for Simon!

Enjoy the nutcracker today. How very wonderful for your niece.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Sure is nice to hear that Simon's doing so well. Oh sure, the appy is iffy, but considering what he's been through, he's really coming around. I always considered hand feeding an excellent bonding experience. Although I'm not sure my cats felt that way.

How exciting for you. Your niece has the plum role in the Nutcracker. That's a big deal.
