Prop is doing really good. Amps and pmps between 160-220 everyday. The smallest amount of levemir to deal with it. She is happy, playing and every night sleeping between my legs.
This morning I got up at 9.30. Way to early for my little girl, she stayed in bed until my breakfast was ready. Getting up, ready for her piece of cheese :)

Hope you all had a great thanksgiving. We dont have that tradition in Denmark, so thursday was a completely normal day for me :)

Hi Charlotte.
So happy that Prop is doing good. And of course... amazing picture. I just love looking at your pics of her. She is soooooo cute.

Hey Juliet

Im from Denmark so the name has a meaning, just in danish. Prop is kind of a sweet nickname for the word fat/heavy. When Prop was only a few weeks old she found love in food and it has lasted for the last 15 year. She ate whenever one of her 5 littermates ate. Just the sound of one of the eating would wake her and she ran to the bowl. So when i got her at 8 week old in 1999 she was allready a Prop.

Thanks both of you and i totally agree

Awwww we will never tell her that her name means she's a little "fluffy" lol

For the longest time I had a dog named Mishka, I just loved the name, but never knew the Russian meaning of the name, until a Russian friend met her and when I told him her name looked surprised because her name meant Golden Bear and she was. She was a Chow/wolf cross and looked just like a little golden bear cub as a puppy. But it is also a name to endearment in Russia. Who knew? But since then I have always looked up the meanings of my animals' names. Especially after my Mishka started to resemble her name in more than appearance. See the Russian Golden Bears are what the rest of the world knows as the Cinnamon Bear, a very small bear with a big attitude, and far more dangerous than our North American Grizzly. They are also highly protective and Mishka the dog was exactly the same way, small for her breed, and down right dangerous if you threatened those she protected. lol
