Yesterday was RECOVERY day in Mannieland. Anything would be classified as such after a night like the one before. :shock: :? :roll: :roll: It was nice to see him slide back to the yellows, and surf there. Good job Mannie!! We hope for a good ay today - blues would be wodnerful!! You can do it Mannie! The amlodipine was started yesterday morning, and so far he seem to be tolerating it well. BP recheck next Saturday. All is well in MannieLand. I so love to watch Nicholas and Mannie interact. It can be priceless. It was another morning of DGS having breffis, Mannie needing a test, and those two exchanging greetings as I carried Nannie to the test spot. DGS wanted to share: still raspberries, still Mannie's affirmative NO ,and then --- another kitty kiss. Once again Mannie let Nicholas kiss him on the lips, watched while Nicholas smiled. Not one twitch from Mannie. Just an exchanged look and a little boys smile. Priceless! And... I was once again cameraless. figures, huh. :roll: :roll: Santa has done a little early Christmas shopping... Mannie always gets a new nanner or two from Santa Claws. They arrived yesterday with a few other boxes, all of which I stacked on the office here. Early in the evening Mannie ventures back here, and it as like all his senses jumped into overdrive. :lol: :lol: :lol: He KNEW they were there... the nose was working to the max: SNIFF!!!, he searched everywhere, could pinpoint the box, but just couldn't decide if it was really what he thought it was, and should he rip into it. :lol: :lol: :lol: This went on for over and hour, on more than one occasion. I may have to hide them somewhere else.... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty for the week. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot, maybe a creek today if it is not too cold, or wet, and if we have time to travel. Not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

KITTIES!!!!!!!!!!! Guess what! Maui the Magnificent has invited us all to visit her at her condo at the Falls! We gets to travel by plane too!!! SWEET huh! She has connections... awesome! so.... uh....any of you guys licensed pilots? heeheehheee.... I am sure we an handle that! Maui says that she has lots of space, toys, lounge chairs, bbq grill, fountain that can be filled with niptinis or nipjitos, sun deck and pool. A POOL!! and SUN!!! I will picks you guys up, then up up and away for us! ~~ Mannie

So funny on the box of nanners, poor guy, driving him nuts with anticipation and frustration all at the same time. Yup, time to hide them in the attic or something until Christmas! Time for Manny to calm back down to blues so he can perform at the falls!

My daddy bean can fly a little plane, maybe I can be super sweet and wind around his legs and trip him all the way to the airport and we can squeeze maybe like 15 of us in there! Hey Mannie,

The plane is gassed up and so am I ..... ;-) and ready to take off. Let's gather the kittehs, pick em up and get this show in the air. And while everyone is up in the air - think of the lovely blue sky and blue-green water below and maybe everyone can turn their beegees blue-green, aqua too.

Do you know why I invited everyone to my condo? So you all can see what life is like at the Falls and get off the juice and come here for good! And well, the more kittehs in my place the better. I even have lots of lovely uniforms, errrr outfits, errr costumes yeh that's it for everyone to wear. French maids, butlers, waiters, pool boys, cabana boys, chef, sous chef, grillmaster, fry cook, bartender, chauffeur, limo driver, yacht captain and crew costumes and so many more costumes for everyone to wear. So hurry up and let's get there so we can paaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrttttttttttttttyyyyyyy and ahem, I can finally get my place staffed, if only for a day! Sees that is why you need to get OTJ so you have a place to go and fun things to do. Oh and the chef costume already has your name stitched on it and it comes with a really big hat and a cool dude apron!

I hear the weather is just great at the Falls, a balmy 86, sunny and no humidities.

Oh and mom can't wait to get her paws on that infused tea. She said a pitcher will do her. What a piggie mombean is. No? :lol: She says to thank you for thinking of her and including her in the morning brew fest.

OMG on checking to make sure Leo was surfing the reds... I have done that if only becasue Mannie can chnage the game plan at a drop of a hat. and has... Wouldn't it be great if they could wear some sort of a monitoring system that would check BG on it's own, lets us beans know? and where is that crystal ball. Mannie broke mine years ago.. silly cat!

A sort of flattish yellow day, and looking very close to blue now. Come on Mannie, you can do it!

I love the story of the lip kiss. You really ought to get the camera on a string around your neck in the mornings. I'd love to see that picture, although the moment probably didn't last very long. Do you wrap the nanners for under the tree? I can't leave anything with nip in it under the tree for any length of time before it gets shredded open.

Hope you had a good day out with DGS. We had a few hours of not raining here.

256 @ PMPS. WOO HOO! We have a steady yellow flat kitty. Hmmmmm... maybe some action tonight Mannie? Blues sure would be nice.

DGS and I had a great day today - swimming in the morning - for over 2 hours. That little boy sure does love the water. He's beginning to get the hang of it all: those little legs are moving at warp speed. Way too fun. We spent a rather rainy afternoon at the local river park. HE was so intent upon getting down to the banks of the river, so We found a spot where he could safely do that. I had to laugh: three ducks came up to visit him. That was fun - he was so excited. Despite the non=-stop rains it was a great time on the river.

Thanks everyone for visiting Mannie today - Carla, Wendy, Michelle, Mary, Lisa, Ann, Ella, Liz, Hillary, and Melissa. It is so appreciated! Mannie is still l checking out these boxes! :lol: :lol: :lol: I had best move them soon. Poor kitty - sheer torture I am sure... AND! we had another kitty kiss today! Nicholas is so cute when e gets ready to lay one on the Manster - so so gentle.
Wendy - yes, I wrap the nanners, but I can't leave them there under the tree - it is the same: ripped open within seconds... so they are given to him that morning.
Michelle - so far, meds are going OK. no reactions, retest him next weekend.
Ella - I may cave and give him one early - always bought him on of their "Pollock" fish. on the meter: the new one if s the one I tested a bout 3 weeks ago. it is a wavesense presto, test very close to my old one. I don't really think the meter is/was the problem. I just think Mannie, being an old kitty, is very susceptible to change and the cardio vetty trip just stressed him out - alot. He's been all over the place since then,. Hopefully he will start to settle soon. he should.
Ann - yupp! DGS is a champion puddle stomper!
Liz - I thought the same thing: I don't have enough hands! :lol: :lol:
