LBG is a wild and crazy baby today. Mike said last night after I went to bed, she and Tobey were chasing each other up and down the long hall to the guest rooms; one direction, she'd be chasing, the way back, he would be. Only he doesn't really run from her because she has such short legs....he lopes and she's going full speed :lol: :lol: :lol: This morning, I was having breffis in the guest room where the sun is and they were wrasslin' in the den. Gracie was making all kinds of noises which means she's not got the upper hand. I finally got up and went in there but they must have heard me coming because they were both just sitting there next to each other looking at me like what in the world was all that noise???? Oh yeah....like I'm too stupid to know it was them :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Not as much green last night but flatter so that's better. Slow progress...... ;-)

I never made it to Trader Joe's yesterday. I worked out for about 1.5 hours and spent a lot of time undoing stuff my mom did :roll: :roll: For example, I have her set up with an auto renewal for Webroot for her virus scan on her computer. She gets an email from Norton, so she just signs up for it. She doesn't bother to ask me about it so then I have to spend time getting charges reversed. She's doing better except she is refusing to wear her neck brace. Luckily, she sees the doctor tomorrow.

Hey LBG! Settle those BGs down a bit. Those greens looked so pretty on you last night!

I hope you get things sorted out for your mom. It's so hard to deal w/ things from a distance. Sending hugs or you and vines for your DM.

Well, Marje, you know wrasslin' and chasin' is just the bestest kitty fun ever. 'Cept maybe for playin' with mamabean and/or daddybean. Love their energy.

Now, LBG, time to get to work on those numbers. Down, ya' hear.

Hi Marje.
I LOVE when they play together and mine do the same thing. I walk in the room where i have definitely heard crashing lamps and furniture. ( i swear they are like a furniture moving company !) and they look at me and say " No No - that was NOT me" haha_smiley haha_smiley

I'm so impressed that your mom will use a computer. We can't get mine to even go for a tablet and when she used her phone all she would do was dial. Then again years ago she couldn't work her VCR not matter how many times I tried to explain it and show her how. Now all I ask for is no UTI and a good mood today. Not looking good.

Looks like your patience may be paying off with this dose. Now we just need a little consistency, Gracie!

LOVE the picture of them playing together. My two Siberians used to do that when they were young, and Kisa and Sasha did it, too. It sounded like a heard of elephants in the upstairs hall! :lol:

Sending healing vines for your DM. I hope the doctor convinces her she needs to wear the brace, or tells her she can leave it off!

Nice blues for Gracie today. I love hearing about Gracie and Tobey playing. I hope everything goes well with your mom's doctor appointment tomorrow.

Marje, so funny about the kitties playing with each other and acting like nothing was happening when you walked in the room. I'm glad your babies still love to have fun with each other. Both of mine are so arthritic that walking up the stairs is the only exercise they get. :sad:

You are such a good daughter and I know your mom must really appreciate you being there for her and watching out for her. What a mess with the computer stuff. My mother-in-law did the same thing before DH took over all of her bill paying. She was double paying almost every credit card she had. If you ever need someone to talk things over concerning your mom, I am here for you.

Miss Gracie is looking good -- flat is much better than all over the place!

Gracie and Tobey, you guys are the epitome of innocence. Surely your mamabean didn't hear any racket coming from your room!

Hi Marje, It's not easy to deal with our older family members who flourished before the digital revolution. It is so easy to get sucked in by companies who have good products, but want to push them on everyone regardless of need. Good luck with your mom. I hope she has a successful visit to the doctor tomorrow and that she'll consent to wear her brace.

Flat blue beats flat yellow and added together makes green! :lol:

Those neck braces are a pain in the opposite end. Paws crossed DM gets a good report and can go to a softer brace.

LBG had a quick trip (we hope) to the sunny side of blue todsy ;-)

Thank you all for the visits and wishes for my DM. She used to do really well with the computer, but not so much now. It worries me. Thank you, dear Georgia, for the offer. I might take you up on it sometime.
 
I'm so jealous Tobes and Gracie actually play. My guys '"play" for about 2 seconds, and then it turns into a blood-curdling brawl. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often, but when it does ... :shock: :o ....

I'm trying to teach my mother how to use e-mail, since my Dad has no patience at all for that sort of things. It's been interesting to say the least! Fortunately I have a background in computer-based training, but she hasn't touched ANY sort of keyboard for over 40 years, so not only is computer-lingo foreign to her, so is keyboard lingo in general! She really doesn't want to do it, but I keep trying!

I would have never guessed that, Amy, the way yours all snuggle!

Maybe you should just get your mom a tablet where it is one touch and she can see email. The Internet has become a very dangerous place for my mom to be.
