Uncle's sister Annabelle had a chronic weeping eye. Turns out it was a (somewhat common in cats) herpes infection of the eye. I tried all the ointments that the vet eye specialist prescribed, but in the end giving her Lysine twice a day cleared it up every time.
That said, I'm glad you're taking Fritz in for a thorough check up. Fingers and paws crossed for a good visit on Monday :cat:
