She may have had herself a kibble-raid this morning...It's been a while since I've done this, but I accidentally left a bowl of kibble on the floor this morning. I didn't witness an actual raid, but I did see Trix roaming before I discovered the bowl, and that "+3.5" is a little telling. Either way, I'm sure Ms P will get back on track.

Nothing else terribly unusual going on here...happy appy, all snuggly, nice numbers thank to her +9 snacks, gelcaps are still on a decent roll (which we all know will end at some point, we'll enjoy it while we can!).

Civvie Petey is over his snuffles, but now civvie Frankie has a bit of a limp going on. I remember the vet saying Frankie has luxating patellas at her last vetty visit, so I wonder if one of her knee caps popped out and pulled a muscle. She's not limping badly, but she is limping noticeably. I'll be keeping a close eye.

The chemo crash was hitting my Dad yesterday, which is right about on schedule. Hopefully today is the day he'll start turning it around, but once it hits, it does take him a few days to bounce back.

Work had me ripping my hair out yesterday...it was pushy, demanding, obnoxious, needy customer day. Sales were OK, but considering how hard we had to work for them, the numbers should have been better. Ah, the joy of small retail during the holiday season! I enjoy having the store, but I'm looking forward to the day when I am working on my own and out of my house instead of out a brick-n-mortar store.

Speaking of which, time to get going for the last round of Thanksgiving weekend sales....I'm finally off tomorrow. Phew!

Thinking of Tricia and her crew. It sounds like Georgia's Simon is on the med...yay! Have a great day, LL!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O)

In the kibble Trixie? I know... not your fault... ;-) I am sure Mr P will get you back on track sooner than later. Surf well today Trixie!

Yay for Petey! no more sniffles. I hope Frankie will be OK. Feel better fast Frankie.

Good fortune at the TBP. I hope sakes go well, good business today. I remember you saying how you were working on having your own business outside of the physical location. Hope that will be a reality for you soon.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. Feel good vines for your dad too.

i thought of you yesterday with the "Small Business Saturday" and wondered how things went. I tend to avoid shopping on Thanksgiving weekend, but most people get out and buy lots.

Hope your dad is past the worst of things. Been thinking of you and your family, amy.

all right, Trixie, enough of the crunchy splurge!

Uh-oh on the kibble raid. I'm sure Trixie will get right back on track. I'm glad Petey's sneezing is better. Sending prayers for your dad and Frankie.

Kibble!! Trixie, that's for the riff-raff. Get your face out of that bowl and dine in style on the wet food. Goodness sakes, girl.

I hear ya' on the retail stuff. My folks had a hardware store. Holidays were crushing.

Light to your dad and hoping Frankie eases up on the sneezies.

Ahhh, forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest, doesn't it, Trixie? Naughty little girl! Well, you do like to keep your mamabean on her toes. I don't think you'll find it as easy next time.

I'm glad your DF didn't crash until after Thanksgiving. I was hoping he'd be able to enjoy the day and all that goes with it. Sending healing vines and prayers for a fast recovery.

You can consider it a Thanksgiving treat! Good girl, Trixie!

I hope you are enjoying a nice, peaceful evening away from the store, with only your adoring kitties to make demands on your time.

I hope your dad will feel a lot better tomorrow. Many more vines for him.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Well done tonight Trixie! I've been looking at some British diabetes/acromegaly papers, and their word for kibble is biscuits. The same word they use for cookies. Enough of the Thanksgiving treats Trixie.

Vines to your dad, hoping for a quick recovery.
