Good morning, am now at appointment for human (vs being at vetty)

Sootie's ambg 336. Her early morning bg (ca3-4am bg was 198, relief relief). Appy iffy but loaded her with FD treats and left a bit of Ff classic for her in case she wasn't up for ezc beef (everyone else was ok with in).
Did shoot 0.1u.

Hoping to be out of this appt early enough to recheck her in a couple hours and before heading out to next human related obligations of the day.

Hoping all are well and vines to all.

Hang in there! Hope your appointment goes well..is it your back acting up again? You've been doing a lot of stair acrobatics of late! Hoping all goes well. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Sootie will come down, she's shown she knows the dance she has just switched up the choreography a bit:cat::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hope it's a good news day:bighug::cat::)
Hugs

Sootie hasn't seen blue for a while, so she's probably bouncing. I hope she comes down slowly today. I hope your appointment goes well. Sending prayers.

Appt done a little early, that's good and to able to check on Sootie earlier than anticipated.
+3 at 11:14 am = 287. Eating a little wellness core right now.

Have to head out again, but have more leeway to be sure she's eating a bit more. If can get back home by mid-afternoon, all the better for recheck. Otherwise will be closer to pmps time.

Thanks all, love, hugs and vines from all of us here

Just off phone with vet. Sent him SS current to today. Pending his looking more closely at SS, he suggests continue with 0.1u bid (new cartridge) through weekend unless she dips into mid to low blues or lower.

:):bighug::)
Thanks too. Just had some freeze dried treats. Rechecking in awhile.crossing paws for holding steady. Of course, now I get into the thinking ahead quandary, depending on pmps, of whether to shift the gears of holding at 0.1 tonight or dosecrease if same or dives and if appy doesn't start to pick up again.

Hoping all good and steady in your kitty realms. :):)

Hi Les, apologies for not replying earlier to yours. One more of those kinds of pressure cooker days, I'm feeling the drain as well as Sootie's ups and downs. I'm relieved beyond measure that Sootie found a :cool: a little while ago in this dance of dances. Crossing paws that this a good sign.
Thanking you and all for hanging in and with your humor and heart of gold that helps to lighten the loads. ❤️:):bighug:

No Worries! There are too many of those days dancing this dance..you get the feel of the steps, find a rhythm and suddenly the music, tempo and steps change...like a wild party game....it leaves one feeling frenetic at best:bighug::bighug:hang in there, :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Liking those :cool::cool::cool: numbers!

:bighug::bighug:! Thank you.

Just did Sootie's +11 (7:11pm ET) = 193. Still blue but climbing.
So looks like 0.1u in order for tonight's pm shot ca 8pm (now going downstairs to see if something different will whet her appy) and do pmps accordingly.

Open to suggestions should today's #s indicate other course of action that I'm not catching. Sootie's pm shoot window around 8pm ET.

Hugs and vines to all.

HH thanks. I've become increasingly frustrated with the or my limitations in making expeditious thread title edits. I'm not at my best right now but it is a pita pardon the expression. If you have any magic way to edit threads, I'm all ears. Thanks ED.

NOW it decides to be cooperative!!!! :banghead::facepalm: Oy.

@Gussie's mom I just removed the ?? And shoot window closing in thread edit.
Sootie's pmps is 277. Appy iffy even with enticing 2nd supper offer. Gonna stick with 0.1u tonight's shoot, and continue the roller coaster ride with wrenching gut.:banghead: Thanks for connecting and the bump assist.
Crossing paws and glorious greens for Gussie! Sootie will be on that surfboard one of these days.

Hi
Sorry, was not there to catch that frustration for you! I've had many a colorful exchange working on changing the thread title! Are you on a tablet? I think the computers the same tho..
Go to your thread and where it says thread tools click. That should bring up edit thread title
Click on that and that black box magically appears, that lets you edit what the title says. You need to do the editing in that black text box, then click save changes when you are done. It's a frustrating process wo eking in that little box, I end up deleting the old back to where I want to change it..basically starting fresh!
Does that help? You may already be doing that and it's just frustrating..:bighug::bighug:if there's a more efficient way I'm not clued into it!o_O

Les, that's what I do. the problem, or my diminishing resilience in general and in particular with technology, is that the process can be maddening when one cannot edit beyond what is shown in the little black box. Maybe I'm old fashioned but.....wouldn't it save lots of time and angst if could view the thread title in entirety and have that entire visual field editable??? All the tweakies.... I have to find the sweet spot to select all, then save, then X that which has been 'select all'd to clear the black box. If editing to add, I enter that, then have to tweak so there's enough room to paste the saved thread title to that. Sometimes I can edit at the front without doing those multi-steps. The process you describe is what I do, but I often have to repeat and repeat and repeat and sometimes rewrite the whole darn thing. time consuming and maddening, more so when under pressure. I have to find a more simple way....for everything!

more often than not, I'm doing this on mobile, sometimes on DH's iPad that's taken to crashing, hence adding to the lost time panic syndrome.Now I bring cell phone up and downstairs with me with fud dishes etc.

Either I'm getting too old or too tired. There's my vent for the day after a good cry after Spunky in her now, thankfully, cheerful and softer exuberance (vs earlier nanosecond fear aggression obsessions) got a little too over the top and accidentally bit me. She instantly realized what she'd done and nestled alongside while I instantly broke down in tears.

You are in good company...we've all had our share of good crys here..no shame in that..it is exhausting so much of what we are doing and the not knowing is scary, frustrating and hard..I'm no expert by any means but it does get easier..so much of this makes no sense until you do it..lots seem just counterintuitive. As you have the events under your belt the fear part is easier to manage because you have experience that tells you you can handle what comes next. I was often gently reminded of that as each new step I had to take terrified me. That's the way forward in this dance, to let yourself take the next scary step. And to let yourself acknowledge that you have the tools and knowledge to keep your cat safe as you take that step and leap.:bighug::bighug:
Grab rest Where and when you can, take each day as one where you did the very best you could in that moment, and knowing tomorrow brings another chance to do things differently!:bighug::bighug::bighug:hang in there, big big hugs:bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Les. And big hugs to you too!
I fell asleep, woke up a little while ago, fever and the beginnings of a cold. An ah hah moment reflecting on my moments of earlier in the night. I fell asleep thinking that maybe Spunky, in her overly enthusiastic love bite, was helping me to lance the roiling inner boils of despair! I woke up all a fever, finding her attentively beside me.

When I went upstairs, Took awhile for Sootie to settle in to the idea of a bg at this time of night....

But it was 150 at 2:56am
Pm +7 if I'm counting correctly!). And ate a tsp or so of fresh fud. :cool: And Sootie is my nestler, always has been. She soothes the universe. When she was a wee kitten, she used to snuggle up around my neck, making a little 'nest' and knead and purr away through the night. Every morning lots of snarls for me to comb out, but we sure did sleep well then.

A few more hours til daybreak. Hope you are enjoying some...no...lots...of well deserved REM's and that Gussie is surfin' greens galore.
Hugs and thanks, :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Sina
