Decent appy yesterday, and OK today. Not eating as much as I'd like at each sitting, which makes for a lot of sittings and interventions by the beans. But at least she decided again she liked Wellness Turkey and Salmon again so I got to clean a can out of the fridge. :)

I don't like all this high yellow I'm seeing and am getting itchy trigger finger, but she did see greens 6 cycles ago. So for now, I'm sitting on my hands. Plus this bean is heading over to the island again to see the parental units and deliver the results of my shopping trip. DH will be in charge, but I don't want him to have to deal with hijinks and appy issues.

Safe surfing to all kitties - vines to all in need.

Well, that was a tiring but productive visit to the island. Wish I couldn't have spent more time just visiting, but lots to do and I didn't want to leave Neko too long.

She was a good girl while I was gone. Ate almost all of her breffs and was very enthusiastic about first serving of dinner. Ate more than she's been eating lately at once. :) Makes me sad that I have to do chemo again soon, to start the whole nausea thing all over again. :( I'll enjoy the appy while it lasts. Cerenia is available at vetty, and I'll pick that up tomorrow, along with her buprenorphine and budesonide at the compounding pharmacy. Seems like I spend a lot of time each week picking up and paying for cat meds. Next week it's Vetmedin's turn.

Amazing to see Neko's micro-dosing going on! Glad she had a happy appy today and was good while you were gone.

How are your folks doing?

You don't know the half of the "micro dosing". Way back when I started using calipers I made a decision to set the top of the caliper against the ring at the top of the BD syringe, to make it easy to measure. It's not really the zero line. With the current box of syringes, Neko's current dose lines up about the top of the zero mark printed on the syringe. Darned cat is sensitive to small dose changes. Which makes the famous BD bubbles especially annoying.

Folks are doing OK, but my mother is feeling tired looking after my father. I had a good talk to her today about taking care of herself, so she could take care of others. She has an appointment at her doctor and dentist next week, long overdue, and I'll squire them around. DF needs to go to the hearing aid clinic. Neither of them have been off island for months and it gets hard to drive in the "big city" when you've been away a while.
