Moon Moon has an ophthalmologist appointment today so hopefully the vet visit stress doesn’t affect her numbers too much. When we got her, Moonie’s eyes were so red and watery and we found out she had a mycoplasma infection that she’d also shared with her sister Charlotte .

While her eyes have gotten much better after treatment, we can still almost always see her third eyelid and her eyes are watery. She had her tear ducts flushed during her dental a few months ago, but it hasn’t fully resolved the issue. So we’re back to the ophthalmologist!

Sorry Moon Moon… she’s about to get a lot of gaba soon

I hope she knows we do these things because we love her. Sometimes I show Moonie the bill to show her that the appointment sucked for both of us . She always looks at me like “so what?”

I know it’s so unfair that the communication only goes one way! Our cats are so good at letting us know exactly what they want and how they feel about the starvation, neglect, and indignity we put them through

Poor sweet Moonie, but I'm sure she made it through the appointment like a kitty champ! I'm glad you're both back home and can hopefully get some rest now. Two different eye drops three times a day? Wishing you lots of luck and hoping the drops will finally help her eyes.
