Good Morning LL! Today we shall see if it is finally time. You've had a full extra day, sweet Tess. Time to tell Mr Liver to get back to normal! I promise not to talk like I think I know what you are doing any more!

I had another weird reading this morning even after putting a new battery in yesterday.When i switched to the backup meter I could feel the difference in the way the strip seated. The old one was just wearing out and was too loose. I don't want to figure out how many tests we did with it. I suppose its time.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, and right back to the kitchen door. Guard duty! Something's out there!

Hi Ann, with my meter if I don't get the right size blood or if it splatters on the other side of the strip, I get an incorrect reading. I had a 26 this morning (yes, incorrect)! I don't know if your meter is picky like mine, but just thought I'd throw it out there -- just like I did the bonito flakes! :lol: It does sound like it might be wearing out though if the strips are loose.

Hi Ella and Ann. We wore out the meter. We switched to a new Maxima meter this morning. They wear out after a couple thousand tests. Our first one wore out also after about this long. It was about the time we tried the Infinity for a while. Good thing we aren't testaholics :lol: :lol: :lol: :mrgreen: ~ John

That's interesting. I didn't even give a thought to a meter wearing out, but it makes sense. I hope mine isn't on its last leg. I'm a semi light weight with the testing, so hopefully we're good for a while!

well darn it - I thought I posted here... I remember reading it, thought I did... space cadet rules here again!

meter wear out?? oh wow.... never even occurred to me. Guess I had better take a good look at mine! :lol: and HAHA on the 3212 post- at least you caught yours! I inevitably don't, and am reminded by some many kind hearted folks. :lol: :lol:

Oh Tess....not done yet????? You need to get back to those lovely blue and green cycles....Mr. L knows how to handle those very well.....and you look gorgeous in green and blue.

Ann: The slide backgrounds were a soft grayish color and the heading boxes were charcoal with a shaded purple around them to match the text and the purple in the FDMB logo. So...you did "download original" and it didn't come up? I guess it won't help to email it cause it's still the Mac.......Sorry the color and the font changed.
