Good morning LL!

I was very sad to see a big fat pink 350 this morning for Star's AMPS. :cry:

Is this still related to the panicky liver? Or due to her low numbers yesterday?

Or is something else going on?

I was so hopeful yesterday, now I'm worried today.

I'm at work. I gave her .5U for her dose this morning.

Good morning guys! This number could be related from low numbers and the panicky liver ... I know it's disheartening to see a pink number in the morning, but be positive and know that she has all day to come down nice and slow ... have a great day guys!

Good morning! I'm going to take a guess here and say that Star is just bouncing from the low numbers yesterday. ECID and some take a few days to clear a bounce and sometimes a few days to actually have the bounce.
I'm sure that Star will be in much better numbers by this afternoon.

Yes I agree with Devon & Deb...looks like a reaction to the nice low numbers. These bounces happen so try to not worry too much. We have to just bear up under the darn pinks and hope that the bounce is short lived. Star Cat sure has a healthy Liver, right? Hope you have a good Monday.... :razz:

It looks like a bounce to me, too. Let's hope it clears quickly but it can take up to 72 hours for a bounce to clear.

OK. BIG SIGH here. :)

Thanks everyone. I thought last nights yellows were the bounce, I didn't know she could bounce up all the way to the pinks.

I am going to try to get home for a mid morning check. See how she's doing. She did have a great night snuggling under the covers...and what's really great, is that I had a full night sleep as well.

I know it's disheartening to see the pinks, but don't worry...Star will get back into good numbers again soon. It can be exhausting to have her in low numbers all the time, so enjoy the break! Sleep is good!

I don't see any notes about testing for ketones, are you doing that?

Morning! So agreed with the others - I am not a big fan of the pinks either, nor of what seems to be forever for them to clear. Star Cat will though. I hope that you will come home to better numbers. Have a great day today!

Just getting home from work and my in the door test was 352. UGH. :cry:

She looks puny.

I'm keeping the same dose tonight, right? .5U?

And Laurie, I need to pick up more test strips for Keytones. I wasn't too worried about it with all that green and blue, but now I will get some.

Don't lose hope! Sue had a big pink number just 8 days before he started his OTJ trial. It's probably a bounce!

Well it sure was nice having an easy bean day. I like seeing her gradually come back down. 278 at the +2.

It's so helpful having all of you. I can't imagine how anyone cares for a diabetic cat with out this board.

Well at least you can sleep tonight. Hoping tomorrow brings you better numbers.
