Here are some thoughts to help you:
  • I would not stop testing for the night until you get two tests, best about an hour apart, that show him rising with no food for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. You might be able to space the tests out and grab a nap.
  • If he drops below 50 before or around nadir, give him a tsp or two of HC gravy and retest 30 mins after he finishes. If he’s still low, then give him a tsp of the HC food, retest in 30. You want to alternate gravy and food until he’s up safely so that he doesn’t get too full.
  • If he drops, once you get him completely stopped and rising anything above 50, then switch to LC.
  • If he drops below 50 later in the cycle after nadir, try and give a higher LC or a lower MC; you want him to surf and not compromise his duration. Too much HC after nadir can put the brakes on his duration but, you want to keep him safe so if he doesn’t come up above 50 with the higher LC or lower MC, up the ante a bit.
Any questions before I go?

Thank you @Stacy & Asia and @Christie & Maverick for staying with Katie.

I think you covered it. Thank you :bighug:

That's awesome, love Super Mario! We decorated our building in a Super Mario theme for Halloween this year. I'm watching crap tv to stay awake.
I love Super Mario. Unfortunately, our cartridge won't save my progress.. sooooo annoying lol. So everyday I start over.

Ah, that crap tv trick. I wish that worked for me. I'd be ZzZz's

Staying awake isn't my problem, functioning tomorrow will be! Busy day and several appointments, won't be able to catch a nap until after 4:00pm...if I'm so lucky. :blackeye:

Oh no! Are you a coffee person? You'll need a pot lol.
I'm not, I hate the taste of coffee. I've had Starbucks a few times when I'm desperate to stay alert and it is just not pretty. It makes me wired and jittery. I will probably need one tomorrow. :joyful:

Which Super Mario are you playing? There's only like 300 different versions of that game out. I remember being boss at the original when I was a kid and they rereleased the OG Mario for the 25th anniversary and I played that version for the first time as an adult. It was impossibly hard somehow. They've gotten much easier as time goes on, but the first version is insanity.

I never was into coffee until I had my son.. now, I'm hooked.

I have the Super Mario World for Super Nintendo. Some levels are insanely hard for me. I'm at this Lemmy's Castle and can't get past the wizard

I used to play the original too as a kid. My son sees the commercials for Nintendo switch and wants that Mario game lol
