Day 13!
I think he is doing okay on the trial but I am so nervous! Since trying OTJ, his numbers are staying in the range his vet said she'd like to see (with a couple outliers). I'd be more confident if he was in the green a bit more often.
I know he didn't have a lot of green AMPS before we started. I chose to start when we did because I cannot test during the day and didn't want a hypo when we weren't home to help him. I was really getting worried we were seeing some bouncy numbers from him dropping low on the drop dose. I also chose to start when we did because I had a lot of time off around Thanksgiving so I could watch him during the day and get him back on insulin if needed.
Thank you all for the support and encouragement. FD is a scary ride and having the FDMB community and resources has helped us get through this.
