Amazing isn't it how we can be so happy one day, and so down in the dumps the next... :roll: :roll: Sunday was so great, yesterday the pits.... I had really hoped that the amps from yesterday would carry forward, but alas... it was not meant to be. The Nanner King decided that the stratosphere need some serious exploring, so off he went.. wayyyyyyyyyy upppppppppppp thereeeeeeeeeeeee..... Hello? Earth to Mannie! Anybody there? :roll: Mannie is definitely going to have to enroll in remedial LTS... well, it's just a few numbers in a sea of thousands, so today we start anew, hope for good things. Right Mannie? All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Oddly enough, we are still whackless in the mornings. :shock: What is up with that? I kinda miss all the whacking! :lol: :razz: Kitty choir made their appearance though - phew! another morning where I did not hear the alarm. Thank you BJ for all those bellows in my ear that got me up. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King! Still the kneads too. :razz: Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used:I still have to run interception though - as Elsa heard the feeder too, and thought maybe she could sneak in a chomp or two without Mannie noticing. as if... :roll: Sheshhhh -I may have to get her her own feeder. :lol: :lol: We are a chilly 37 here this morning, rains looming yet again. Funny how the furkids always know, and have retreated to their beds. Mannie's is, of course, the nanner pile. After he fixed the though. Today's arrangement? a circle, with him in the middle. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone!! I am off later today to Seattle, to have coffee with a friend. YAY!!!! A trip to the "Big City". It should be fun. :cool: :cool:

I had hoped to add photos from yesterday's hike on Mannie's condo, but I can't seem to get them to upload. Sheshhhhh.... it took me 30 minutes alone just to get the board to accept/post Mannie's condo. Anybody else having issues this morning?

Morning Ella - so agreed on the numbers... where or where did that steady eddy blue and green kitty go that used to live here.... :roll: and yep, we are due for mroe rains this afternoon. Maybe they will miss us. :lol: OK on the board... i had such problems this morning - still can't get the photos to post. oh well, maybe tomorrow on that.

Every day is a new day! The ups and downs with FD are a little tiring though, especially for those of us with kitties who are anything but flat. :lol: I hope Mannie comes down gently into the yellows and blues for you today Michelle! Have a blast in the big city.

Hi Michelle, it looks like Mannie is coming down there at the +2, so it can only get better today. Yes, I think Elsa wants her own feeder, but then I wouldn't be surprised if she still wants Mannie's, too! :lol: Enjoy your day in Seattle today. I'm going to try and do the same, only not in Seattle. I hope it warms up there today.

Sounds good Mannie with the beach at Tess' s today. I'll be waitin at the curb, Maggie

What is up with Mannie? At least the +2 is a little better.

I'm glad to hear that other than the AMPS, there is normalcy in Mannieland. Now I can relax and know that things are going to be ok today! If Mannie is well, than we all should follow his lead and have a wonderful day, too.

217 @ PMPS, + a civvie food raid... an inattentive bean for a few seconds and in he went for the kill... sheshhhh! :roll: :roll: I have no clue how much he ate... guess the +2 will tell all. :lol: :?

and for those of you who asked: BJ's and Elsa's BW came back today. They renal values remain constant, so it looks like the diet change is sufficient for now, to keep the numerous in line. I will have BJ rechecked in three months to see if there is any significant difference.

I can attest to the kneading: Rusty always goes for the same spot on my abdominal muscles and it is really sore!! He's practicing for something!! Linda, that chart is hilarious!

Mannie, you can't eat contraband and expect to see blue!!

Hi Ella - I know on the kneading - and they always seem to put out heir claws... OW! I wonder what Rusty is practicing for? :lol: and I know on the contraband - silly boy! lunch was great - she was delayed a little, but no matter - we still had a good time!

The girls bw looks great!! You are doing a superb job of keeping them nice and steady. Really great results!!

Hi Marje - yep, flat and yep, almost blue... nice and steady. :-D Paws crossed that he finds the blues... I'll take that for now. Thx on the BW for the girls - it was good to see that it hadn't changed to significantly and brought some levels down. YAY! Not too bad for BJ - a young 18 yrs.

Hi Ann - i know on the yellows, and I keep waiting.... :lol: :lol: come on Mannie! time to get it moving.... :-D It was good on the numbers for the girls. Right now the main food is the Royal Canin Modified Renal LP (and thanks for the info on that the other day btw), with a little Hill's SD adult, small cans, a little Merrick BG. The bulk is the Royall Canin. I wanted to see if diet would help BJ, and it seems it will, before branching out with other foods. We tried the Hills KD and omg - that was a major turn up your nose no way will i eat that look - from both of them. I do appreciate you listing the phos levels in tess's condo - helps to know what other foods people are feeding.
 
that plotting pic failed to address the "run between the bean's feet while they are walking" tactic. it only LOOKS like they're excited, really, they're practicing their bean trip-up plan! :lol:
