Seems that Maggie has sam Meme's issue, this little high AMBG :(, i will stop the trial as many told me and back to insulin and i do not know why morning BG always high
Yes, I've been watching your trial. Frustrating, I know, but our kitties just need a little more healing. Let me know if you figure out how to decrease the AMBG, and I'll do the same for you! ;)

While neither Wendy nor I think the pred is affecting her AMPS, as long as it is ok with your vet, you can try to give it in the a.m. and see what happens. But I’d clear it with the vet first. Some meds are better given at night.

i do not know why morning BG always high
Due to the dawn phenomenon (an early morning rise in BG.....happens to humans, too.) In addition, the AMPS is always the very last number to come down before we start a trial.

Looking good, Maggie, but we’d sure like to see green PSs all the time!

So...just an idea....but maybe try dosing the pred at AMPS? It might only mean that PMPS is blue instead of AMPS but overnight Maggie may have the "dawn phenomenon" working against her too? idk, just an idea!
When I restarted the pred on 8/26 I was giving it at AMPS, but it resulted in 5 days of mostly blues AM and PM. Before restarting, I had been seeing mostly greens, AM and PM. I appreciate the idea (you're always thinking! :)), and maybe I'll revisit it if she doesn't straighten up her act.

ETA: @Marje and Gracie see my response here to Judy about AMPS pred.

Sending flat green vines to Maggie.
:D:D:D:D
Hang in there Alicia, I know how frustrating it is to feel so close and yet be so far, think of all the time she is spending in healthy healing numbers, good for her pancreas and good for the rest of her body.
