Good morning everyone,
Lou got up to a whole lot of nothing with yesterday's green AMPS. Thankfully it appeared his bounce was pretty swift, to the point, and over quickly. He made it back to the lagoon late last night (or early this morning, however you view it, haha). He has a beautiful AMPS this morning again, and I hope he can surf with it. He seems a bit more likely to surf the next cycle if the green shows later in the previous cycle. We'll see if he follows his own rules, haha.
I still have not heard back from the vet, not even a line responding to my status request email yesterday morning. I understand my vet was out for a week, but I've still been waiting almost 2 full weeks for a response (yea or nay) to my request. Now my question is how long do I give them before I try to send another request/status email or call and lose my temper? I obviously will not try to lose my temper
, but gosh am I losing patience here. If I could just go to the store for my insulin, it wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm having it shipped from another country. I'd like to do that before we hit deep freeze temps around here, which obviously can be any minute. I'm thinking I'll give them today and send them another email tomorrow if I don't hear anything. I'm trying to think of how that email will go now before my patience snaps, haha. But seriously. I'm tempted to say screw it, order Lantus instead of Basaglar so I can get the order in. But of course if I do that they'll respond right after (just after it's too late to change my order with Mark's).
