Yesterday

Lovely AM cycle yesterday and higher PM cycle and a higher AMPS this morning. I may have given Jax a fur shot last night (fur was a little wet but I didn't smell insulin) or a bounce though he hasn't bounced up to these numbers in awhile or he has something else going on. Hoping whatever it was that he gets back to work today!

I find it hard to tell sometimes whether or not I've given a fur shot. If I don't actually feel the needle go through the skin, I'm always wondering if he got any insulin. Sounds like Jax may not have gotten the full dose last night. I'm sure he'll get back on track in no time. Have a great day :)

Whatever it was, I'm going to *try* to let it go :p and if he did get a FS, I was just thinking he had a decent AMPS lol. Tell Jazzy that Jax has his phone back - just not at breakfast ;)
 
It’s amazing you have only had one. I think it was likely just a partial. I did that once too. I was so tempted to shoot a tiny bit more but was glad I resisted the urge.

I'm sure everyone's had a FS and may not be my last :bighug: BTW, the affenpinscher is apparently named for "monkey like terrier" which I see but without knowing that I thought it looked like a little bear smushed up into a doggie. The one at the dog show was sooo cute. You need to watch the video of him from the dog show if you haven't already gone down that rabbit hole :p

I haven’t watched it but will. They look so cute. Apparently not so easy to train or good with kids in case you were thinking of getting one.

ha, we hadn't gotten that far. I think we'll stick to pictures and videos for now :) i do not think the cats would not tolerate a dog here.

He made it to PMPS - Hurray! I probably could have gotten away with less MC but I couldn't afford to move shot time tonight much so didn't have room to see how he'd do on his own.

Ha. I thought that yesterday then flubbed his PM shot. No wet fur tonight. Thanks for including the anti-jinx ;) I wouldn't mind him on this dose for a couple of cycles but clearly what I want doesn't matter :p

Yay, he did! He previously loved dropping in the 50s for PMPS. Got to check the "shot a 50" box off pretty early on lol.
