Question on bouncing.

If he had a high number this AM and came down this afternoon and PMPS… does that mean the bounce has cleared?

I know I’ve read that it take a few cycles to clear but just wondering when we know it’s cleared… if that can even be answered …

Hi Kim, Did I share the little story I wrote about bouncing with you? I looked around and yes, you've already read that story...

You may want to read it again...these bounces take a bit of time to clear in the early days...and from that PMPS it doesn't look like he's cleared it yet...you'll see those numbers coming down soon...slow the drop if you can...to slow the bounce.

Some kitties never stop bouncing...

Oh yes, I did read your story.. and I want to make a book out it ;) all credits to you of course! (I’m a graphic designer)

I just thought that maybe there was an indication of some sort.. like if the high numbers don’t stick around (pinks) then he’s clearing that bounce (getting lower numbers) until the next…

How would I slow the drop? With his regular food, I’m guessing?

Numbers do bob up and down a bit during a bounce. Often, when they are clearing a bounce they can go lower till the end of the cycle like he did yesterday. Some cats go high before they break the bounce. It's possible you may have an active cycle tonight. Let's see the +2.

Yes, by feeding small meals every couple of hours - in active cycles that would be more often. Have you seen this sticky?

Thanks Bhooma, that helps.

We’re at +4 and I was planning on doing a test now. I’ll post in a few moments
