Good morning Lantus Land and welcome back to reality :lol: :lol: We are racing around this morning to get Jason to the airport and I'm going to try and get a little work in today.

WCR: Lively little kitty this morning. 4Ps in place. Looks like she might be trying to break through that bounce from last night. Mike and I are thinking she needs to go back up to a full unit if we don't see some better numbers today which will be her 5th and 6th cycle on sk1u. She and Tobey watched their Video Catnip cd about 3 times through this morning. She likes to watch it from above and he likes to sit on a little stool so he can be nose to nose with the birds and squirrels and "touch" them. It's pretty durn cute.

Hope the bounce clears quickly. Some are resistant to LTS. Nice WCR. Good luck with the dose. Hope it holds for you.

Hope Gracie comes down for you a bit but not too low.

I could just picture Tobie watching the TV screen. When Tori was a baby she used to love watching hockey. She would sit on top of her little scratch post and try to get the puck. I always thought she would fall off reaching so far but she never did. The young ones are so cute but then so are the older ones.

Allrighty Gracie, I know the Thanksgiving Dinner was a plentyfull and full of carbs, but its time to watch those carbs and come off those 2's... We have Xmas coming soon, and we need to fit into "our party" xmas attire....Missed you guys ~ Essi

ps. I just vented, I heard my moma bean tell dad bean she is going to get me paw socks for the motorhome, the bare floor was cold, but not cold enough for paw socks... Please let your moma bean talk to my moma bean how nasty paw socks can be..... Thanxs

Gracie isn't doing much on this sk1u and she's on 5th cycle...typical from the past when I've reduced her and then tried to go back up when she hasn't held the reduction. Any advice on increasing her dose tonight and if so to what? Her last GOOD dose was 1u but last time she failed a reduction at .75u and then we took her to sk1u and she didn't do any more than she is now, we took her back up to 1.25u and worked our way down again (bypassing the full 1u). That's what I kinda have in mind but you all see the big picture much better. If we take her all the way back up to 1.25u, we've decided to give her higher % carb foods early on to try and control those rapid drops; however, she has seemed to breeze through the 1.25u pretty quickly. I know we'd like to get the curve flattened and she seems to be doing that in between bounces!!

Barbara...yes, she seems to be one of the LTS resistant ones for certain. Not good!!

Barb...they are always so cute when they do this kind of stuff. Even my old guys amaze me with their cute antics. Hope you get some rest.

Danette....we had a great Thanksgiving...thanks!!! Spent all day cooking ;-) Essi...your bean make you wear PAW SOCKS!!! I have my mama talk to her!!! I has tile floors here and dey can get cold but mama doesn't make me wear paw socks!!

Majorie....I just wanted to thank you for you generous and sweet offer in my condo. I truly appreciate you and all your kindness. Let me do some more research here and see what I can find out. I'll keep your offer in mind.

I have no advice on the dosing....

So what's the catnip video Gracie and Tobey watch??????

No expert here, that's for sure... but she did do well on the 1u. well hopefully the experts will be along...

Gracie Air is cleared for runway 1.0u. (no skinny) Please file a flight plan. :lol:

Reason: If you feel the dose reduction didn't hold. Go back to the last good dose which was 1.00u.
Only 6 days ago on this dose she dropped to 36.
I wouldn't want to go to 1.25u at this point.

Thanks CD and Jill for checking in...we shot the 1u and I hope I got it all in her. I know the needle went in because I saw it as I pulled it out of her skin but there was a tiny drop of insulin on her fur...could have just come off the syringe (when I shot juice up into the air). We'll see. Worst thing is she is minus a drop which would put her at the sk1u but I hope not. I don't like all the time she is spending in pink. Will continue to work hard to get a little flatter curve. I did consult with Dr. Lisa on diet and she felt Gracie might possibly benefit from higher protein, less fat so we're going to see if I can get her back on a raw diet or at least some food varieties that are the LC but have more protein/less fat than Evo or Wellness. Even a bit of raw mixed with those like many others do would help.

Ele...thanks for checking in....I hope we can get her back into good numbers.
