That midnight check looked promising, but I'm not liking another "hi" this morning. I know the meter is just trying to be polite...but come on!

I'm really glad you got that +5.5 272, that's fabulous. He hasn't seen a yellow for a week.

Fingers and paws crossed he has another nice nadir today.

Come on Charlie you can do it.

that really is awesome. If he keeps visiting yellow, eventually he wont bounce because of it. Keep up the good work. I know all the testing sucks, but look what we found out!

Hi Claudia, nice drop last night  ...and 90 points today is not bad.
I wonder if Charlie can feel us all pulling for him.....c'mon Charlie...you can do this!
Anyone think a small booster in the middle of the day might help....and it would'nt have to be permanent just helping him get an intro into those lower numbers where he might start feeling comfortable.

If Charlie is bouncing from yellows it can take a few days to clear. A booster isn't really going to help, it will just muddy the waters IMHO.

I think I'm confused about whether he's bouncing, or if this is just something related to insulin resistance as Carolyn suggested. I think it was Saturdays post that she mentioned that...I'll try to find her quote. Maybe someone could shed some light on that for me?

Edit: the quote was in Fridays post on the acro board. I can't figure out how to quote using my phone, though. Here's the link:

Well, I've been on the fritz for a few days, so I didn't know there was a very good conversation started regarding resistance. Often times when working through "resistance" one has to push on ahead until it breaks.

If that is the direction you are now working in, then a mid-day booster is out of the question. When and if Charlie breaks we don't want to be dealing with several layers of insulin and hours.
