11/28 Zeke AMPS 138; +2.5 = 105; Active Cycle?

Happy Thanksgiving! Well, Zeke and I had a lot of quality time last night. I was guiding with food +2 through +4.

Here's a recap:

Today's AMPS is great except for the fact that we (Zeke included) were going to be traveling today. Because of the events of last night, I'm worried that trying to test and feed on the road is not going to go well. So, I'm going delay to see the +1 and +2. It's a double edged sword. I'd love for Zeke to surf in greens but I will be disappointed at not being able to spend Thanksgiving with family. As much as I dislike the idea of disappointing my family, I'm rooting for Zeke to spend some time in the lagoon. We'll know soon what is the verdict.

Well of course (to me) it's not clear cut if we're gonna have any active cycle or not. An 80 certainly would have been a loud and clear sign. This 105 - IdoNo?

FWIW, you can always steer the cycle sharply upward with HC if you are worried. Do you know if Zeke stresses with car travel? If so, his numbers will probably rise on their own. I would definitely pack an "emergency" kit so you have syrup and HC food in the car with you along with whatever other supplies (e.g., insulin, syringes, lancets) that you'll need. So far, it may be a very normal cycle. There's no way to know exactly what Zeke (and his pancreas) have in mind.

you're sure seeing some better night cycles. great job! it looks like zeke is getting used to these better numbers.

i'd assume he needed to be monitored today. we dragged punkin all over the place in our car - if you can go and take him with you, that's what i'd do. i hope you can still enjoy your holiday.
