A very quick update from Ronnie -- they have arrived at the exchange point. All of our LL beans are meeting. I'm sure I'll hear more from Ronnie shortly.

he is beautiful (and huge!). What a happy family. I can't wait to hear that they are home and settling in.
It's not easy to find a new home for a cat who has to be an only cat, especially one with a medical condition. I think DCIN deserves big thanks for helping Rusty, and so does Phoebe for keeping him safe and comfortable until Ella and Edward came along. I know you wanted it to work out to keep him in your home, but when that wasn't possible, you kept him happy until the right situation presented itself for him. Hooray! Rusty is one lucky kitty. :mrgreen:

Thanks for the great pictures. It is so comforting to know that Rusty is at home with Ella and Edward.
Rusty will love getting their undivided attention, and he is a delightful cat, as Claudia, Leanne & Dwayne, Linda B, Ronnie, Ella and Edward can attest to.
Charlie and I miss him already -- it was hard to let him go, but we know that this is a great opportunity for him to have a terrific home where he can be the Only Cat.
Of our remaining 4 cats -- two have already expressed their delight at having the bedroom back -- two are still not quite believing that it is true - afraid because they can still smell him.
We're going to do a curve on El Tigre aka Tiggy next week after the "dust settles" and see if his BGs are better with less stress.

It is very special when a kitty finds a forever home by someone who takes them in. Phoebe was the stepping stone for Rusty as a waiting spot for him to eventually get to Ella and Edward. They are two incredible people who are willing to give of themselves and their home after their very sad and recent loss of Stu.
