Hope you had a good sleep! I fell asleep and did not test further past +6
now AMPS 108...he i eating now....
he certainly took it easy on me last night viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30752 but we shall see if he has remained in that mood for this morning!

oh i sooooo totally need some ~O)

hopefully he won't dive on me today....i've had enough drama the last few days....and honestly i think his ears are dry as i'm getting hardly any blood! been going thru more strips and lancets as i gotta poke more.... :YMSIGH:

Anyhow, have a great Sunday! i know what awaits me today besides testing.....yuk...cleaning.....i rather be doing other things but this place needs to get back in order! luckily i'm not the only one doing it....recruited DH to help out! :lol: :lol: shhhhhh he doesn't know it yet..... :lol: :lol: :lol: he is still sleeping....he is in for a shock :lol: :lol: :lol:

That's a really nice AMPS this morning, Rocket. Now, be really nice to your mom, today, and surf nicely.

Luckily, I did my cleaning yesterday. I had guests for Thanksgiving and then other friends stopped by on Sat. so there really wasn't a choice. The bigger question for today is whether I can bring myself to do laundry. (I hate doing laundry.)

I would suggest mentioning to Rocket that he has mastered the art of diving. It's now time to work on surfing. Maybe Dyana's trick of giving shrimp for surfing would be an inducement!!

well i figured i could go btb after giving the pheno at +0.5 based on his amps and that he ate a bit

now at +2 61.2................DIVING AGAIN!!!!!!!! darn!!!!!!!

can't go btb not even 1/2 hr.....he is eating again so will test in 1/2 hr............

he doesn't touch anything human related food....by human i mean nothing...only his canned food and chicken dust.....picky picky picky...........

i love doing laundry but hate cleaning the bathroom....so DH does that! got him well trained :lol: :lol: but for now no cleaning it's only 8 am....

Rocket is doing so well, Claudia! He likes to dive, but he also seems to like to get on the surfboard....that's good. :smile:

Cleaning and laundry here today, ugh.

Nice work on getting Rocket to surf this morning. I just realized this morning that Rocket has some things in common with my Blackie. Like, age, CRF, and a lot of the same meds. But Rocket has much better numbers! :-D Do you find that he drops after you give him his fluids? I have to make sure that Blackie isn't too low before I can do them. Good luck with the housecleaning. I got most of mine done yesterday. Have a great day!

hi Ele,
Rocket does NOT drop the #s even if i give fluids....i give him chicken dust while he is sitting nicely with the fluids so that perhaps helps keep the #s steady but hard to say....i used to give fluids right after amps at +0.5 but now hold off a little just in case!

the data collected indicates he does not drop w fluids.....but i'm cautious

tested at +4.5 79.2 :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

he actually got up at +10 and ate at +10.5......it was only a tiny bit of food that he found outside of his dish....we shall see where this goes tonight!

was gonna test him at +2.5 but then got distracted....so now at +2.75 59.4 so fed a lil more....testing in 1/2 hr
