Aha! Maybe. Perhaps the girl's high am cycles the last few days have been a bounce from who-knows-how-low numbers at the last third of her preceding overnight cycle.
I broke all the rules (why not, my cat does) and started a little hc at +6.5 when she looked like she was dropping oddly more than usual. HC at +8 when she sort of flattened, but I know her nadir is usually around +9. Yup, even carb loaded she was 104 at +9. A drop of honey to let me sleep!
Actually, those are nice overnight numbers, but where might she have gone without the hc? Or drop of honey? I thought if I can keep her from going too low, I might smooth out the bounce if, indeed, her wonky am cycles are from a bounce.
Just experimenting.
Please note, if you're not familiar with Polly's situation, she's an acro/iaa cat. Had SRT in early Sept. Is tumbling down the dosing scale right now. LC, MC foods won't move her much in the last part of her cycle when she's dropping. HC can help her surf. My experiment is uniquely Polly's test not suited for any other cat...Perhaps not suited for Polly, either!
I have to work today. Yes, a black Friday! I'll run home around +5 to check on the girl and be home for good around +7. Ahhhh, an afternoon nap, I hope!
Vines and wishes.
