This morning it looks like Max is having an IBD flare. He ate a little bit, but I really had to encourage him, which isn't normal for him. He vomited some and I gave him his budesonide. I'm going to have come off the maintenance dosage and go on active flare dosage.

He didn't end up keeping much food down, so no food bump isn't a surprise. I'm wondering if I should encourage him to eat some LC or if I should go for MC. I think I'll do a mix.

Is he getting Cerenia or Ondansetron?

He hasn't needed it in a long time. I need to get a new prescription. He did eat some @ +2, but he wants to eat more now @ +3. I'm going to do maybe straight 16%.

Since he’s eating maybe the cerenia won’t be needed but I liked to always have some on hand. However. Was dealing with chronic pancreatitis and not IBD.

Max has had great numbers today, but I feel like I was needing to keep them up with HC.

At AMPS +2=90 I fed some 20% mixed with his LC. At 3, +4 & +6 I fed a little 16%. He was at 58 @ +6. He always has LC available, but I can put LC in front of him and he will eat it. Should I have fed LC and see if he would hold or get below 50 or just let him eat when he wants?

I just want to have a plan for next time.

He’s been on 1.0 for 6 days. I would feed lc at +6 and see if he earns a reduction or stays above with lc.

I fed the 16% at +6 before I saw your post, so I'll do this for next cycle it happens. Very possibly tonight.
