I think you are right on that dosecrease. Paws crossed it brings a lot more blues and maybe even some green for Mary Grace. I did so hate this part of the dance (going up) but you will get there soon enough. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

Good luck with the dose increase. And, sometimes, yes the bounces will level out. Many cats will eventually quit bouncing. Some think it is their own special thing. We will cross all our paws that she'll stop when she gets to her fitting dose!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Elizabeth! Big sigh for you, but paws and fingers crossed that THIS is the magic number to help her stop bouncing! One thing is, it's always interesting to see what will happen! ;-) Hope you are all having a fabulous day!

Wendy, Marje & Kim- Hope you have had a great Thanksgiving!
Thanks for the visits and the "thumbs up" on the dosecrease. She has been mostly yellow today, surfing steady! :-D
So thankful for that! I exited my parents dinner early because I had to get back home for her 5:45 shot. My ignorant brother in law rolled his eyes and made a comment since I don't have children I am really a crazy cat lady"....I looked at him and said crazy...yes...cat lady...forever!
My Mary Grace seems to be feeling good today, her coat is softer and she is happy! Still pooping outside the box but I really don't mind---at least she is pooping!
I would like to get some expert eyes on my civvie Tyger's lab's. I am concerned because the vet said his thryoid was enlarged but the labs were "normal". He is overly hungry (maybe feeding off of Mary's hunger) and actually Kitten Cow is overly hungry too. Guess all those years of free feeding dry (evo Weight mgmt-ha!) Kitten Cow is going in for his wellness checkup Saturday.
And yes brother in law- these are my children!!!

Good luck with the dosecrease Elizabeth! Sometimes we just have to keep going up until we get their attention!

I hear you on the eating more too...seems like maybe the cool weather has mine eating enough to hibernate

But I would suppose it makes some sense...they're consuming more calories to store up a little extra fat for the winter.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving...and of course you're a crazy cat lady! So am I...and darn proud of it!!

Crazy Cat-lady's (and men) unite!!!

Chris...love it! Crazy cat people unite! And I am darn proud of it too!
I am hoping this may dosecrease may do the trick.
Hope China settles back into surfing smooth for you!

Crazy cat lady INDEED! Me too :-D And I get the same thing from everyone, I don't have hooman children either (would have loved to but wasn't able to).
My civvies have been acting hungrier than when they free fed on dry. I think with mine, they are just addicted to the routine of nibbling all day. Kitty crack.

Kim, kitty crack is right! I have a double bowl and where one was filled with that dry garbage, they are both just filled with water...and I have seen all three of them numerous times just gazing at it, like it would change into dry food if they stared long enough!
Doctors discouraged me from having kids (ala "Steel magnolias") probably for the best.... I have my fur children and my neighbor's wonderful lab who I walk every day. I am grateful for my cats, they were the only reason I kept going when my husband died suddenly 5 years ago. The amount of love they gave me I can only hope to keep returning to them. They knew I was heartbroken and they nursed me back to health

Did the vet run a geri-panel bloodwork for Tyger? That includes a T4 test which would give indications of hyperthyroid. Paws crossed it's nothing.

I am not sure what it was called but I know the T4 was tested and the values were normal. BS was 91. I asked her why she felt it was enlarged and she said sometimes us owners can see changes before the labs can catch it. Huh? And I should come back in 6 months for another blood work up. It was pretty comprehensive, and I know the thyroid test was an additional charge because the vet tech came up and told the checkout girl to be sure to add it to the bill. I should have gotten copies but I will get them when I take in Kitten Cow for his checkup on Saturday, getting blood work on him too.
I just think they are all too hungry and it has me nervous. Like wolves or pig hungry.
