Today's +2 is a little higher than the AMPS for once. I'll take what I can get. Update in a few when I do a +4 BG.

Dang, +4 was 58. I hope he didn't drop too low on the +3 mark. I didn't get a chance to test him because I had a busy morning. :?

Just now put Cini in front of the bowl of 8% carb food and he ate. Overall, perky and acting like his normal self.

Man, he's just walking the tightrope with the 50's today. 56 at +6

I gave him some 13% carb food. I'd rather see Cini in the 60's to 70's

Tonight marks the 3rd cycle that Cini's been on 1 drop of Lantus twice a day. Do I keep going or do we try the trial again?

I'm not sure how you're counting cycles. A cycle is a 12-hour period between shot times. I'd stick with this dose for a while longer. You're still getting numbers that are outside of the normal BG range.

Hi Sienne.

11/26, 11/27/and now 11/28 would make 3 cycles, right?

And normal BG range is 80 to 130? Which, if that's correct, yes I see what you are saying. I'll continue on :smile:

Let me know if I am counting cycles wrong or I don't have the correct normal range for BG.

Oh! Oh, I had to read that twice.

A cycle is a 12 hour period. My brain was registering 24 hours for some reason.

Ok, then Cini has gone 5 cycles.

Let me know about the normal BG range, though.

Cathy....yes...two cycles to a 24-hour period. Normal range is 50-120.

Good luck..hope the PSs come down with a little more juice altho this one looks good!
