good evening everyone !

well its been a while since I posted there has been alot going on in my life, Last Tuesday night my sister tried to commit suicide, they air lifted her to a bigger hospital were she was in intensive care for 3 days ( she took pills ) she is home now but was supose to get a 72 hour evaluation which didn't happen ????

so with callie and the tid it was getting to be to much for me and her, (this last week of tid ) she hated all the testing and the shots she started fighting me on both !

I went back to bid today with callied shot times are 10:00 and 10:00 her numbers so far today

Oh Marty, what a terrible thing for your sister and your family. I am glad she is doing better, but yes, ongoing stress for everyone.

Not a bad number for today. Not a huge drop but a nice 100 points. BID should be easier to all of you; I hope the numbers cooperate.
 
I'm sorry about your sister but glad she's home now. Please make sure your sister gets the care she needs. I pray that she will get better. It's a difficult time of year for a lot of people.

The BID will be easier on you & Callie.

thank you for your thoughts and prayers my sister really needs them, I'm sorry to vent but it just makes me so mad !!
our brother commited suicide in september of 1999 he was going through a divorce and couldn't handle it , she knows what this has done to our whole family including her, all the un answered questions and the what ifs or if only !! my sister has a drinking problem she got a dwi and lost her licences almost two years ago this is not the first attempt at suicide , thats why I don't understand how she got out of the evaluation ??? we as a family can't do anything she is always drunk when she tries this , last Tuesday night at the hospital she told me and her kids to get the fu*k out and don't come back , her kids are ages 26 to 30 she has 2 sons an a daughter even tho her kids are adults this still hurts them deaply, sorry i'm going on an on I will stop.
 
Marty, I am so sorry about your sister. I will keep you and her in my toughts and prayers.

Callie's numbers look good today. Hopefully, bid will work well this time.

Don't EVER feel like you need to not vent. We're not just here for the kitties. We're here for each other. All of us at one time or another just need to blow off steam. Maybe some of us have met another member or two over the months or years, I am not sure of that. But we're all "friends" here, we're here for each other on un-kitty stuff too.

It does suck how she treated you and her kids in the hospital, that's terrible to hear. But it hurt you and them, and nothing wrong with telling people that! I hope your sister gets help, but unfortunately, she has to "want" it before it will do her any good. Maybe this time, she'll understand that.

So, don't just keep stuff bottled inside if it helps you to dump it out here, okay?

So sorry about your sister.
I hope she will get the help she needs.
Even when someone is "baker acted" they can only hold them for 48 hours I think it is if they refuse treatment.
That is bad what she said to you and her kids at the hospital, but when someone is in the grip of addiction, they will say things they don't mean and would not say otherwise.
Glad you are going back to BID for Callie, her numbers don't look to bad.
Will keep your sister and family in my thoughts and prayers.
