Thanks for your visit last night, Mariko . . . I agree about the caring. And a Papaya comic strip would be so cute :-D even if you can't draw it, it's the thought that counts!

I just didn't have any words after reading Carl's last post in that condo. It made me just take Papaya to bed, tuck her under my chin, and cuddle her tight. Thank you for keeping our kitties safe, Carl, with all your advice and help at those PJ parties. We owe you many pies.

I figured Papaya was saving a bounce for this morning and here it is. She was drinking water this morning, too, but she's dropping fast again. So a regular Papaya-day.

Come on Papaya, let's hold onto some yellow for a bit, then maybe tonight some blue...I think it would be super fun to hang out on one of those floors for awhile. :-D This racing thru the colors must be exhausting!!

Oh, yellow is so last-hour's news . . . ding! Now stopping briefly on blue floor . . . no wonder she came out and wanted a snack.

It is rapidly turning into a snow-globe sort of scene outside so it is a baking morning . . . anyone fancy a baking-powder biscuit fresh from the oven with homemade chocolate-raspberry jam? It's a good thing Papaya has never thought of eating people-food or I'd have to guard the biscuit crumbs!

She's in the centre of a pile of blankets on the couch now, quite cozy. Once I couldn't find her ANYWHERE and was getting rather confused, but then I saw the tip of her tail in the centre of a great big wool duvet that had been rolled up and tied like a sleeping bag for storage but not put away yet. She was right in the middle like a raisin in a cinnamon roll. She does know how to do cozy :-D

Hello Carla, Wendy and Liz! Papaya is just dipping her toes in green by +3 . . . not shooting up OR down for the moment, so it's a good evening :-D Maybe she'll actually find a surfboard!

(Wendy - the jam is just like making regular raspberry jam, but as it's boiling you stir in a few square of unsweetened baker's chocolate. It's YUM!)
