Some times you have good days - yesterday, and then there are days like today. :(

Last night Neko zoomed right up and today she's sliding down. I'm not bothering to try to figure out why, it's just Neko. :cat: Appy is "meh", lots of encouragement needed and different flavours. She always feels and eats ickier in higher numbers. The feeding syringe will be coming out soon.

The bed that I got for Theo yesterday, I don't think he's been in it yet. Neko has claimed it.:cool: Unfortunately it's a little cosier (has sides) so trickier getting a cat and a couple of food dishes in there for her to snack on.

Happy Sunday all, vines to those in need. It's a rainy, home made soup (tomato fennel) kind of day, perfect for watching the Grey Cup.
 
Awww...sorry to hear today's not going so well...Yesterday sure was a winner!!

Neko honey....eat your fuds!! It's such an easy thing to do and it makes your mama so happy!!

Sounds like Theo is SOL on the new bed.....The Queen has spoken!!!
 
I guess you'll have to get another of those beds for Neko--the next size larger. Sorry about the bounce and the crummy appetite, but she came down nicely.
Enjoy your soup. It sound delicious. Awful, cold, damp day here too. I'm taking good care of my NYC cold!

I think we can just ignore that silly start all together :rolleyes: Well Theo, guess it's pay back for stealing Neko's food. Hope your sweet girl is nice and comfortable. Sending loads of feel good and appy vines & prayers :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
too bad we arent closer in miles... could have brought my out of the oven cheesy biscuits over for that soup!... oh Neko im sorry today was an off day little one... try to eat a bit more for your bean... i know you feel icky but food helps... and you might have to share that bed lol but only if momma says so... hope the rest of your day is more blue and green and a lot less red... :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I executed the feeding syringe threat this afternoon. Neko doesn't really mind the syringes - I think I'm more bothered by it. I give her Maxcal cause it's high calorie so less syringes to get her calories in. And a little bit higher LC, hence the numbers. Appy is still poor tonight. :( In spite of a couple doses of ondansetron. RR (respiratory rate) was 21, so that's OK.

There wasn't another size up on the beds - or I would have gotten it. But at $10 per bed, I thought I'd gamble.

@Lincolns Mom - Cheesy biscuits would have been perfect! I've got a bunch of my home grown tomatoes getting ripe so had to do something with them.
 
ooo if you make preserves at all let me know... my mom owns a u-pick and her and i can a lot of different tomato recipes... i wish we still had some to eat right now! -- i have a recipe for a smoked paprika tomato jam that is just awesome on chicken wings, pork chops, ribs, cream cheese with crackers
