Hi All,

This is my first condo using yesterday's numbers. I guess this is a test; critique away. What should I do when there's not enough room in the subject line for the day's numbers? Any specific hours you would prefer to see in the subject line, when they won't all fit? Ideally, should the entire day's numbers be in the body also? If so, would you rather they are in a column, or a row; what's easier at a glance? Thanks. Deb

Welcome, Marilyn!

I saw your first post (and yes, we call them condos!) We call them condos like in cat condos:

We are a very social group and we visit each others' "condo." It would sound silly to visit a thread!

If you want to list numbers, doing that in a column is much easier to read. Most people will begin to delete the AM numbers if the string in the subject line gets too long or if you need space to indicate there's a question or that you need help.

Like Marje indicated, Lantus is a gentle insulin and it will take a few days before you see a response. It is very different than Humulin N. It will not yank numbers down the way N does and there is much greater duration. Also, dose changes are based on the nadir, not on your pre-shot test.

Please let us know if you have questions. People here are very generous with their time and their information. I hope you will post on a regular basis.

I read through yesterday's post and I know you still have a couple questions unanswered. As to the AMPS info on the subject line...once you start on the PMPS numbers, you can erase all the AMPS numbers because you'll have put them on your SS which is the permanent record of Marilyn's BGs. About food...since you have your other kitty on the Friskies pates, there's no reason at all not to start Marilyn on them also. That's a good choice. You can look through Janet & Binky's food lists to see what the carb count is for a bunch of different foods. Fancy Feast Classics flavors are low carb also.

Now don't answer anything on this condo!!!! You need to start a new one for 11/28. Make sure to link this one (Marje gave you instructions in your 1st post) so we can go back and get info if we need it. I'll be looking for a new condo for today!!!
