My son said to tell Lucian he better behave 'cause momma's gonna be gone tomorrow afternoon. He knows I'll stay home if Lucian's too low.

Lol bribe him to be good with the promise of leftover turkey.

I've instructed the kids here if they want turkey they must be good. No fights, no opening cupboards, no stealing food and the sugars no nose diving. lol Of course I also know at least half those rules will be broken within 30 seconds of my eyes being open.

Now I find out this isn't happening tomorrow, but on Friday! He swears he told me, NOT! 3 day old pies............I'm pissed.

Now as long as Lucian stays stable, we're good.

Seriously, I didn't even like making pies last night for eating tomorrow, much less Friday.

My shoulder is giving me a fit now, I can see buying premade crust come Christmas! Didn't think something that simple would bother the shoulder, who knew? :lol:

SOOOOOOOOOOO, it looks like guyfriend and I will go out for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. ;-) That's cool, no clean up. Works for me! I'm shooting for Cracker Barrel, love the food. :-D Full Thanksgiving dinner w/pie and drink for $10??? can't beat that with a stick! :lol:

Ahhh ok, never tried it here, so had no clue. Let's see if this works. :lol: YES!

All they do is sleep! But staying out from under foot IS helpful! :lol: They get up every few hours for a bite, LB trip and back to bed. Eat, sleep and sh**. :lol: My Patches will stay up a little bit more, she's only 6, but at 15 & 18, the other two sleep 20 hrs a day. :o

Whoa! Slow down Lucian! :o Didn't expect that and really didn't want to up him back to .75.

Hope he didn't get a fur shot this morning, I barely remember shooting him! I only know I attempted it, because the syringe was on my desk when I got up later.

Hey Mel! We've seen what happens on .75, but .50 isn't bringing him down. Gonna give him another couple of cycles and thinking about trying to get him to a fat .50. Whatcha think? I'm gonna give him a couple more just to see if it will help any, before I do take him up a tad. That and I'll be gone the next couple afternoons.

The .75 took him into the 30's, I don't want that. I'll make up my mind in a day or 2 I guess.

Is he still bouncing? He usually gets over the bounce within a couple cycles since on the Lev.

Okay if you decide to raise him in a couple of days here is where you learn the fine art of drops. You go back to your last best dose. In Lucian's case .75 then with the needle skyward you twist up one drop the size of a head on a dress maker's pin and flick that off. That's approx. .65u for spreadsheet purposes.

Are you sure that isn't .065? Never mind I got it. Wouldn't that also be at the bottom of the .50 line? No light showing?

Actually no as crazy as that seems.Because believe it or not between .75 & .5 there is .7u, .65u, .6u and .55u if you want to get technical. A Fat .5 is closer to .55-.6u.

Now you know more than you ever thought you would ever need or want to know about fine tuning an insulin dose. lol

I know more than I had hoped I would need to. @-)

He is being so mean, did the same last night. He wants up on the bed and when I put him up there, he runs over and attacks Patches for nothing, instead of getting in his bed. Being high makes him mean.

I've lost his AB's, he had like 2 days left and I've torn the kitchen apart. All I can guess is that I accidentally threw them away, they were in a foil thing that you had to cut each pill out of. I didn't give them yesterday because he threw up twice the day before, but wanted to give the rest of them. Oh well, if he doesn't straighten up, he's headed for the vet.
 
Well if not for that ugly red pmps that would look like a normal +4 for the rest of the cycle. I know I harp on this but its especially important when you're using R to take the edge off bounces, but did you retest to make sure you had a true reading?

I didn't retest that time, but I have several times and it's always the same. I'm guessing the meter is fairly accurate to that extent. I retested the the 332 and 331 and a couple times he seemed higher than usual. Tested 3 times when it was HI, to be sure.
