Good morning LantusLand!!! More ugly pink PJs yesterday's
AMPS 288
We dumped those ugly pink PJ's this morning and are trying on the yellow ones. I keep telling him I like him MUCH better in blue or green but he just gives me 'the stare'....
Peanut is doing even better today - I can't see any swelling in her jaw this morning. 'Course that's looking as she paces back and forth 3-4 feet away. She used to NEVER be interested in soft food so this is a HUGE blessing. I can get meds and vitamins in her with the soft food!! She's on her last day of Amox pills. She was SO cute about it last night - when she spreads the food all over the bowl, I can reach out and take the bowl, restack it and give it back without her running. I always put any antibiotic left right on top. Last night when I handed it back, she looked at me then lowered her head and 'steam shoveled' that whole bite of remaining pill in...that was such a wonderful gift...it was as if she was trying to tell me THANKS MAMA.
We received more wonderful blessings yesterday too. In the mail comes 2 HUGE boxes and a big envelope. In the envelope were FIVE BOXES of test strips from Thelma & Ray in honor of Angel Calistica. Oh KT - just LOOK how many more weeks we can dance!!! They'd already sent me 2 huge boxes of syringes! Bless their wonderful amazing loving hearts!!!
THEN I move to the boxes - it's filled with almost 200 cans of food from Anne/Liz/Zenner!!!! WOWOW!!! What makes this even more special is that now adding canned food for Peanut and Lily was going to completely blow our already streeeeeched budget out of the water. This gift fills that huge hole!!!
The words THANK YOU are just so inadequate to portray our appreciation. I've cried so many happy tears as we've received gifts that let KT stay with us....I never would have thought that diabetes is really a blessing in itself - it gave me a whole wonderful loving family!!!!
Hugs, thoughts and prayers for everyone today,
