All is well in CurryLand.

Sidney has transitioned to canned food. Its only taken 4 months!!! She's my picky eater. So they are now eating the same food. Of course, if Sid doesn't eat all her food...Curry will...little pig....so I have to monitor.

Bought some Feline Future online this morning....will experiment w/a raw diet in the next couple of weeks. Snagged Fancy Feast at Petsmart yesterday and an artificial tree at Lowes.


Its a chilly 32 this morning so no bike riding....Maybe a swim (indoor heated pool) and a walk.

Curry looks awesome this morning, Tina! I am glad that you were able to transition your civvie to the wet food so easily....it took me almost two years to get my civvie to eat the wet food, and there are times when I have to throw some fd dust in it to entice her.
Now, Curry, it's time to do a nice surf for your mom!!

brrrr to the weather, Tina! It's pretty cold and damp here, also. I am NOT looking forward to tonight...my niece's school is in the football playoffs and they are playing tonight at 7:30 pm. She is in the color guard. The game is supposed to be played at Heinz Field, which is our Pittsburgh Steelers home field and it's pretty exciting for them, so mom and I are going to see her perform. The field is right next to the river...can you say....freezing our a$$es off????

It sounds like the weather in Houston is pretty much the same as it is here in Chicago!

It sounds like your persistence with Sidney has paid off. Congrats! I'm sure having both cats eating the same food will make your life much easier.

Happy Caturday. Nice numbers for Curry. Glad they all eat the same thing now. I had a time with some of my 8 transitioning them to wet. Kitty crack addicts they were. Hope your weather warms up today.

Go Sid! How great is that. I am so glad that you have been successful in the transition to canned food. I also hear you on watching that Curry doesn't finish off what has been left. Mannie has started to do this - a never ending vigil for me now - or he cleans house. :roll:

Curry is looking so good these days - just great numbers!

and brrrrr on the temps - we just went through a spell of cold, probably will several more times this winter. I feel for Deb too - in the cold, on the river? COLD! Enjoy your swim and walk today. Sounds really nice!

So finally put up the Christmas tree...no ornaments yet ...just putting it together.....Luv the pre-lit trees. The girls luv the tree too. They especially liked the string that was wrapped around the tree....Oh what fun we had...I don't remember ever seeing them play so hard w/the string...lots of running and jumping......We will see if the tree is standing tomorrow morning.

So the low preshot this evening may have been in part due to the play we had about an hour and a half earlier......BG usually goes back to baseline after about an hour however.. Maybe it didn't today....So gave her a snack at +7.5 = 85, +10 = 107, +10.5 had play time w/the tree string and PMPS was 76.

Oh but it warmed up to 60 this afternoon. Now your neck of the woods does get COLD. Was in Montreal/Quebec City in April fora conference.....Brrrrrr in QC......

You should have seen it here last Dec....it was snowing....Folks went nuts....It never snows here.....I had my camera at work taking pics of people and such....put together a slideshow...to Let It Snow......Crazy Texans.....Ok...maybe its just...Crazy Me!!

Snow in Texas (eh?) - now that would be a sight. I doubt many people have shovels in their homes do they?

I guess I'll cross Texas off my warm places to retire list lol. I'll have to find out if it snows in Arizona now.

Nice PMPS Curry! :mrgreen: Love the image of both kitties having fun chasing the string all around the new house. I think that will help them think of it as "home"...new memories.
