Wow! Diving fast today.

I went ahead and fed Cini some 11% food at +3 (Friskies Senior Turkey and Giblets in Gravy) to try to slow him down a bit and keep him in the green.

Hey Julie!

Yeah, I am wondering too. Only thing I can think of is this is his second cycle in a row on the 1 drop of Lantus.

I'm going to take another BG in 10 mins to see where he's heading.

Otherwise, Cini seems to be OK overall except that he's been really vocal last night and today. Kind of this "where are you?" type of meow. I call him and he comes, seems alert and perky, but then he wanders off again in to another room and meows. Honey (my other cat) has been sleeping on my bed today and not as active, I'm thinking maybe he's looking for her?

Whew! OK, the 11% food brought him back in to surfing range.

I'll re-test again in another hour.

Picking up the 11% food and probably won't feed again till +6.

Got busy and started cleaning the kitchen. I put the leftover 11% food down for Tabasco (civvie) to eat and next thing you know Cini got in to it before I realized. That was at 12:45pm. So I tested him at 1:00pm and yikes! +5 is 45! Good thing he ate that 11% food!

I'll test him again here in a few minutes.

Whew! OK, he's pulling up again.

But I just realized I haven't eaten lunch yet! I was wondering why I felt so dizzy and lightheaded @-)

If I remember correctly, Sienne said Cini should have 3 of those +5 readings before we talk about "that other topic" again. ;-)

OK, seems like he's steady now so I am going to run to the store.

P.S. - LOVE this new ReliOn meter! Especially the feature that tells you what the previous BG reading was when you go to take the next BG reading.

I thought Cini's +6 was 70, but the meter saved it as 73. Good thing there's a feature that helps me with my memory!
