@Wendy&Neko : Thanks for checking in, Wendy. Yeah, it was only two cycles. I saw the upper 300s and bailed on the experiment, even though I should know that it would take longer for the depot to build up. And then of course she dropped into the blues after I switched back. I just checked the old, good pen and it has just under 30 units left. So I could prolly get 5 cycles out of it. Do you think it would make sense to try that again? I also have a brand new pen of the same batch as the one I am questioning. Or I could always get another refill. I am just well aware that I am most likely going down avenues of paranoia :)

I increased this evening, so it is good to hear you confirm that instinct. I wanted to increase into the rising edge of the bounce rather than wait for it to break.

Today Bell hasn't been feeling super great, I've noticed she gets like this when she first enters the blue zone. This was something I fought with early on in her diagnosis. She seems to feel better high or in the greens for some reason. Or it just may be the fluctuations that get her. She threw up multiple times today and hasn't had much appetite, which ends up in a bad cycle with her BVS. I got two doses of Ondansetron in her today, and she just ate well for her dinner, so that's good.

Other than today, she has been really good. No hint of swelling of her anal gland, which is a small miracle to me. Her poops have been really great with the pysllium husk I've been giving her. Outside of her excess peeing at high numbers, I haven't seen any change in her behavior.

I rearranged some furniture today in my apartment, including where their cat tree is. It is pretty funny how wild cats get for those small changes. You can't change things too much (like move to a new place) or they get freaked out but the minor changes (furniture moves, new toys, etc) really bring out their friskiness. Cats are great. In a few days they will both be completely bored with the changes.

Here is Bell going nutso on the cat tree. I am proud to have captured this one:

Love the wild eyed look! And lower fangs. :p

From human diabetics, I think the wild swings in BG don't feel that good. Hopefully she'll get back to her comfort zone soon (the green one, not the pink one.)

Sorry to read Bell was not well today. I hope she is much better and eating again! Looks like she goes down nicely today! Hope she reaches her :D:D:D comfort zone. So happy to hear her anal gland is fine. And good poop is always a reason to be happy! :) I love the picture. Looks like she has her crazy 5 minutes. :cat:

Oh, I love this picture! Bella never misses an empty shelf, even (especially!) if it's supposed to be very temporary, she will choose it as her new favorite spot to nap. Cats are funny.
I hope she gets used to lower numbers soon, or even better, that she goes back to greens!
