Call me chicken and I shall bock! I once again did not shoot....it is the last day before a LOOOOOONG weekend for me (I don't go back until TUESDAY next week) and I will basically be chained to my desk today, and I did not want to add the worry of what this kitty was doing. Short work weeks like this is a blessing and a curse when you have a job that has a lot of required due dates.

I am hoping that since I have the next five days off, he will give me some nice low numbers to practice on. But who are we kidding? I will most likely get higher numbers that I am already comfy shooting and he will save the low number for Tuesday morning :roll:

Sending love and vines to all the kittehs and their beans....especially Tricia and her furbabies......and prayers to those who are grieving the loss of their furbabies.....

Molly, you know he comes back on track quickly. Good call. Keeping him safe and you at work unworried counts for a lot. Gads! I know that especially this morning.

Always smart to do what you're comfortable with! You can't take the insulin out once it goes in, and if you can't be around to monitor shooting a low number, skipping is always a good option. You'll get back on track quickly!

With his recent trek into the 130s and 140s, not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous as to what he would be....


Happy with that number! Tomorrow will be interesting, he is going to my parent's house for the first time. My mom has never really been a cat person, but fell in love with Skooter. However she was not a fan of him coming to the house....


Well, with when dinner is planned for etc, I basically said, I can come, but can't really stay as I will have to get home to Skooter, so she said it as ok to bring him! He will be confined to her bedroom (as there are too many places for him to hide and me not to find him when I need to). I am excited he gets to come, but fully expect higher numbers seeing as he is in a home he is not used to and the traveling in the car thang....its sad, because I am getting his bags, yes bagS ready tonight. Auto feeder, his fluffy bed, SHARPS container, insulin, fuds, hypo kit, IBD meds, syringes, litterbox, litter.....seems like I am forgetting/missing something....
