Another dive into shark country. I hope Rusty managed to mend the shark nets. (I don't think I measured this morning's dose very well.) Anyway, on we go! He enjoyed servings of RAWZ chicken and RAWZ turkey today, when he wasn't asleep in his basket by the radiator, that is. Good appetite continues. I'm so happy he likes this food.

Today was another day of recovery from Thanksgiving week. We woke up to about 3 inches of new snow. It finally is beginning to look--and feel--like winter. Gotta think about getting out the snowshoes and skis. We went for a long walk in and around the village this afternoon. The sky was very dramatic: gray clouds, bands of silver light, and fleeting sunshine lighting up the mountains.

Oh Rusty! I hope you did a good job mending the nets this time so you don't need to revisit anytime soon!
Yay on the good appy! I'm still hoping to try that food but I haven't had time to look for it; the stores closest to us don't stock it.

Yikes on that 32! Rusty is so sensitive to a drop. I don't envy you measuring the dose. But great news on the Raws. Wish it was more common here too.

Your place sounds beautiful with the snow. We almost had snow a couple weeks ago (thick rain) but it's warmed up. But still cool enough for Whistler to open early.

Are you still rowing? We've put our canoes away and are already dreaming of paddling! Did you get an Instant Pot? Everything I've made in mine so far has turned out great.

Are you still rowing?
We are in the winter season, which means rowing 7:30 AM on Saturdays, only if the weather cooperates. So far we have been out two times out of two. Last year was twice in 3.5 months. Yesterday there was a ton of "junk", in the water from the streams run off due to the rains. More interesting when you are paddling pointing backwards.
Did you get an Instant Pot?
Couldn't resist the "holiday" sales. DH has always wanted a pressure cooker. It arrives on Monday. :)

32, Rusty? Was that necessary? I also don't envy you trying to figure out the small doses. Glad he's eating well for you.

Starting to look forward to whenever our first snow is here, it goes better with all the holiday decorations ;)

RUSTY!!.....That's not a very good example you're setting for the other kitties!!

How about just staying on the safe side of the net and paddling with China?

I wish I could get the Rawz around here too, but even the specialty stores in Columbia don't carry it (yet....I keep dropping hints though!!)

I've been seeing a lot of great recipes and ideas on the Facebook Instant Pot Community, but I still don't think it's something that I'd use much since I'm only cooking for one. Sure is tempting though!!

Wow, glad Rusty got away from the sharks but let’s not repeat that, ok, Rusty?

The tribe here likes Rawz, too, but it is hard to find. One store, a bit of a drive but near where I bring Azalea for her acupuncture, carries it but it’s not always in stock. I’d ask to order a case, but superstitious me worries that no sooner do I bring home a full supply, then they’ll all decide not to like it.:banghead:

So far, no snow here but loved reading your description of season’s first fulsome snowfall. There’s something magical about first snow especially around Thanksgiving.

Vines for you all be well, warm and Rusty: scritches from the tribe for you to steer clear of the sharks❤️.
