Morning ALL,
Hope my American friends didn't eat too much turkey yesterday but i do hope they enjoyed the day with family and friends!

Seems like Rocket stayed in the green all night....i totally did not hear my alarm (from mobible) to check +8...but managed to get up at +10 88.2 which then he totally begged me for food....so i gave him a little bit...

now at AMPS 95.4 (he is eating again) :smile:
will have to do a +1 and so on.....
is it normal for them to stay in the green the entire cycle?

I'd be dancing the dance of joy if Tray stayed green all cycle. Rocket is doing awesome.

Looks like we'll both be going through a decent amount of test strips today ohmygod_smile

It's wonderful when they are green during the entire cycle....it's our goal! And Rocket is doing great!! :mrgreen:

even after pigging out at +3 he is still at +3.5 61.2

gave fluids at +3.75....will test again in 1/2 hr

no shopping for me....rather Dr's apt! :sad:

he's been sleeping since +3.5.....basically shortly after fluids....he had some Halo chicken with the fluids....

i shall report later where he is at and let's see what his pmps is nailbite_smile :lol:

for whatever reason i soooo totally forgot to test +1...but then he ate at +1.5 so i figured i would wait until +2 to test and he is 57.6...he is eating a lil food again....
talk about him keeping me on my toes..... nailbite_smile let's see where this goes....testing in 1/2 hr

He's coming down just a little bit faster than he did this morning. Looks like you may not be getting to bed any time soon. But by the looks of your spreadsheet, it doesn't look like you sleep much anyway :smile:

You're doing okay. Remember to breath. Can you make a little MC by giving him some LC with some HC gravy on top and test again in 15 minutes?

Yes breath and I would hold off on any dry treats right now anyway since they take time to bring up numbers try what Dyana suggested maybe add a bit of karo to it if you think he needs it and keep testing him every 15 min until he is rising

A breath and a little perspective. The drop from PMPS to where you are now is moderately big. However, from 57 to 50 isn't a big drop at all. You can manage the numbers. Dyana's suggestion is good. Some gravy on top of regular food or add a drop of Karo. Either will slow things down.

ok took me a few tries to get him to eat
no karo, no temptations, no dry food....gave lil mc with halo chicken dust on top to get him to eat...will test again in 15 mins.....he looked semi desoriented...is this normal when they're in low #s?

no, looking disoriented is not normal... especially at 50. 50 isn't that low.

That chicken dust is amazing stuff. Not sure about the disorientation. You aren't running around making him dizzy are you :lol:

he circled his spot where he was and is now just lying there...alert but not fighting me with the pokes...lately he had fought me....

i would feed him just a little bit. maybe like a teaspoon full. you want to see if you get nudge him up on a surf board...

it's becoming a struggle to feed him...not interested at all....gave more chicken dust on top of food....he slowly ate it +3.15 61.2

maybe he's just tired? 61 is a nice number. if he's not thrilled about eating, why don't you hold off on re-testing for 30 minutes.

I would test in about 1/2 hour again, just to be sure the food influence doesn't wear off right away. If his BGs have gone up again after the next test, I would then test less frequently. That's just my opinion.

Yes, I think that will be okay. But, just in case you fall asleep, maybe you could give him just a tiny bit of food if he hasn't eaten in awhile, or leave just a bit out for him.

why don't you see if you can get him to eat a bite or two and then test in an hour and a half...
 
off to bed i go....thank you all for your help....

the part that bothers me the most is that he goes so low so soon into the cycle....not sure how to deal with that as tomorrow night i have to go out shortly after his pmps (roughly +0.5...basically waiting to give him the pheno then off i must go)

this is frustrating to see that huge drop....

now at +5.5 103....now into the blues....

won't test him further....
