Afternoon LL! No I havent been out shopping--Never! I wouldnt go out today if they paid me!! Well maybe....

No way would I go out shopping today! They'd have to pay me what I would have spent AND give me the stuff!!

Hi Roni,
I hate shopping whenever, and I sure wouldn't venture out on the day after Thanksgiving!! (When was the term "Black Friday" coined? I only heard it for the first time a couple of years ago.) I'm not old enough (!) to remember the stock-market crash of 1929, but my parents used to talk about "Black Monday". Interesting how, in financial terms, the word "black" meant "doom" in 1929 and today it means "profit".
Anyway, it sounds like the kitties had a grand time at their Thanksgiving party. And you had a good one, too.
We celebrated with some old friends. I "cooked" a smoked turkey breast. It was delicious, even to a vegetarian!
Rusty will be arriving on Sunday, instead of Saturday, because of the weather. (6 -12 inches of "Lake-Effect" snow on part of my route on Sat. Sunday should be fine.)
I'll let you know when he gets here.

oh, cool...i can add info! black friday now refers to the fact that most retailers operate in the red until the profits they take down the day after thanksgiving...

MOONIE! happy day there Roni and Moonie and Copper. have a great day guys, and I am with you! NOOO on the shopping today. no no no. And thanks to Celi for the black friday thing... it was on the tip of my tongue, but alas, as are most things today, just not coming forward. :lol:

Hey Roni...don't know how I missed your condo this morning!!! This isn't a bad bounce for Miss Moonie and she's coming down!!! Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving...I'm with you on the NO SHOPPING!!! I think the only way I'm getting in the car today is with the bribe of dinner out because I am NOT stepping foot
in the kitchen today! :lol: :lol:

Hi ya Moonie looking nice today with those low yellows ;-) I am with you Roni for the no shopping I used to do the black friday thing every year when my kids were younger I must have been crazy :shock:

Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving Roni! I agree about the shopping today (and last night for some!!!) :o

We had to go to a 40th party tonite-- Our youngest friend..--Left, Moonie was 195, came home & to my surprise, Green she was!!! Whoo Hooo!
She drinks a lot of water lately, maybe time for a vet check nailbite_smile confused_cat nailbite_smile --Maybe I just notice it more because I'm Home more..
All other functions are A ok! May take one more test tonite--Dont want her to go any lower--
