11/26 Monster AMPS 123, +1 86, +2 78, + 3 80, +4 100, +5 93, +8 114, +11 136 PMPS 135, +1 120, +2 87

I'm trying to remember what someone said one day about the PS and + 1 and +2..... if one number is lower, then be on the lookout, it may be an active cycle.... and then on the other side of it, if the numbers are higher/lower then you could problem get some rest because it's looks like a flat cyle.....
I cannot find that anywhere and can't remebr it for the life of me. Someone please help me out.... I know I didn't dream it.

May reminded me of this yesterday....
One thing I wanted to point out is this: his drop from PS to +2 is a classic indicator that you might expect an active cycle. When I see those kinds of significant drops in Jude (I look for 20%+ of the preshot), I get ready to monitor because he's likely going to go lower. Ideally, (if he will eat) I try to get a LC snack into him in preparation for a lower surf.
I think it all originally comes from Wendy, as I see her quoted in the upper notes section a lot of the time. 😁

That is originally from Wendy. I have it posted on Jude's spreadsheet, and it has come in super handy for me many times.

"A guideline that may help you to decide if you need to pull an all nighter is the +2 value compared to preshot value. If the values are about the same, it's a normal Lantus cycle with some downward movement. If the value of +2 is quite a bit lower, then it's more active and needs more attention paid. If the +2 is higher (such as last night), it's a quiet cycle and you can go to sleep." ~Wendy

She is having a lovely surf today!

Thank you, Mary. I've had a time trying to find it and copy it. As much as I love it, I really do hate technology, 😆

I don't get it! Yesterday she scares the crap out if me with next to HYPO numbers and then she comes out of it.... last night's cycle was pretty smooth, today so far she's smooth surfing. Cats definitely do not want to be predictable at all. I think she's throwing the number at me as payback for her poor little bruised ear 😔
And now with all this testing going on, I have to go and get more treats because we can't do tests (pokies) with out TREATS!!

Who knows? You might just have found the right 'setting' for her. Don't question it, just say thank you to whomever you give thanks to.😅 I've been at this just shy of 2 months

Well I was just about to go to bed after one last test and her +2 seems significantly lower than her PS so maybe not yet. I don't even know if anyone is still on here but I was going to ask if it looks like it's going to be a slide downhill? Looking at this morning, she did alright and held it pretty good.
