At +2 with 272, I thought I was safe going out for a while. Then at +4 59 WTH?
She was also hyperalert, would not eat at first. I opened 4 cans varying 13-19%. Finally, she ate some 13% and then 15%.
Maybe she felt a bit hypo or sick, coming down so fast.

Hi Staci!
Mikan has decided that she is an ultimate drama queen, and descended hard!
I panicked at +4 b/c she would not eat and acting a bit strange.
Finally she settled to eat and looks like she is back to normal. Phew.
I have no idea that any cat can come down like this :nailbiting:
Hopefully, she'll coast nicely from here on :cat:

I know! I was expecting a cycle of high flat bounce.
This came as a big surprise, for sure. I wish there were visible signs of sudden big drop, like her fur color changes or something :p
She is acting normally now, thanks goodness!

Mikan is doing Ivy style drops now. Like 200 point drops. It’s super scary when u see it coming (I watch the Libre drop in a very dramatic straight line descent. So I know to get ready).
That’s when I sometimes pull out some carbs to put some brakes on the dramatic dive.
Like I want her to go to lower numbers, but just at a slower pace than 200 points in 40 minutes, because that’s just nuts.
Here’s hoping she levels out today and calms the heck down. Drama queen :banghead:

Mikan really gave me a panic this morning but she did okay afterwards. Bounced back up in the preshot but sliding down "gently" (in her dictionary).
I hope she will stop being so dramatic!
