This morning was our 10th dose of F4U and not a lot of action so I may go on up to 4.25 tonight since I will be home this weekend Libby if you look at his SS and think going to 4.25 is a bad idea let me know otherwise I will go up tonight well unless Do Lou has some drama today but I do not think he is planning any drama but you never know with these FD cats they can be full of surprises all P's in place today I did not go to work yes I know Bad bean but I woke up with a terrible migraine and just did not feel like fighting black friday traffic to get to work plus it had snowed some so that would have been added stress for me to deal with. Its a little better now but the sun is out with the snow which is pretty but WOW is just WAY too bright

I'm sorry about the migraine, Lisa. I hope you're better soon. No dose advice, but we increased Blackie to 4.5 units yesterday, so I know where you're coming from. I hope DL will come down to blues today.

Take it easy today, who wants to be out in that craziness anyway. Good lock if you decide to dosecrease, I think i may need to do the same w/ Tess.

pmps 195 dinner has been eaten trying evo duck tonight he seems to like it but for how long... he frustrates me on how he will really like something for a couple of days then all the sudden its gross.
I went up to 4.25 tonight to see what it does for his numbers
 
good luck on the dosecrease Lisa. did you have a good THanksgiving? I'm not getting in my car for the rest of the weekend - now that's my idea of a holiday. hope your migraine is better.

did I have a good thanksgiving no not really Kim but then if you could see how terrible my family acts at holidays you would understand my Dad is a complete ass at all get togethers and my poor Mom who has parkinsons and can hardly walk anymore is so sad and depressed wants a dog he will not get her one and is just a hateful person and makes all get togethers miserable all my boys hate being around him it has not always been this way but it has gotten to the point where we all wish my dad would take a long trip sigh... its just a bad situation so the meal was nothing but him complaining as usual. I love holidays but they are so depressing for me now since well I am pretty down myself and then my family takes me down even more this was I think more info then anyone cared to hear I think just needed to vent.
 
OK Lisa-It looks like Do Lou is coming down..let's hope! Everyone has crazy families & the Holidays can be super stressful..But Family is family, Ya can love em or not, So many times we have just had dinner with us & the cats--Delightful!

Family occasions can be just that. My parents are GA and other than the usual ups and downs, they were fine to be around. We tended to spend Thanksgiving at my DF's sister's. Between my uncle and one of his sons, it put an entirely new spin on needing to be politically correct. Given the G-rating of this board, I will not write out what typically ran through my brain. One of the things I like about being an adult, is that I get to pick who I think of as "family." The friends who were visiting are people I've know for 20+ years. I adore them. And, of course, you always have your LL family. We may be able to share only virtual turkey, but the conversation sounds like it's way better!

Sorry to hear about your Dad's behavior disrupting family time. Ugh. There always seems to be one "toxic" person in the family that everyone else dances around. Hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your family for some of the get together. You deserve it.

Just want to pass you some of the delicious "virtual" turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, pie and most important GOOD CHEER my dear. So glad you are part of our family here. And you can visit our dinner table anytime. No crazy people here....well, except for me. :mrgreen:
 
Nice PMPS for Do Lou tonight. I am sorry about the situation Lisa....<big sigh> It cannot be changed as long as you are having him there, right? That old saying "You can choose your friends, but you are....stuck with your family"..or something like that!!! However it goes......it is so true. Sad that one person can spoil the whole thing.

but Tena is right....we are all a family here and shhhh....so glad she forgot about me when she said there are no crazy people here...LOLOLOLOLOL...let's not remind her, k? ;-)

Yes I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thankful for my FDMB family and my DH and sons for they really help my Dad has always been difficult its why I married at 16 to get away long story there but he has just gotten much worse with age anyway like you guys said you cannot get away from family and mine is really small so holidays just make it hard and its sad he has to make it rough but anyway its not ever going to change thats for certain. I hope to start decorating for xmas tomorrow Is there very many of you on the board started to decorate yet??? my youngest son is over at my oldest sons tonight and they are decorating his house tonight. I am off to go play with the kittens right now this is litter no 1 they are 9 weeks old now. Ellie the little girl who I had to really work with the most to get to eat is so bonded with me :mrgreen: :mrgreen: still need a home for Bug in case anyone knows someone looking for a great cat
