Yesterday's condo

Good morning LL! Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm still totally confused at China's numbers lately, but since there's nothing I can do about it but wait it out, I guess that's what I'll do. She seems to feel fine and her appetite is normal. Think I'm going to call this vet who's about 50 miles away and see what kind of things they do for dentals and how much they charge since I was told she needed one back in August.

She has developed a little bit of a bad habit though...she's been laying right on top of the heating vent in the living room. Whoever built this house only put 2 vents in a pretty large room, and she's decided to lay directly on top of one of them. She looks so comfy and when I call her, she still comes running but is all nice and warm (which is really nice since there's only one other vent and it's kind of cold in here). She makes an excellent foot warmer!!

Hi Chris! I hope China gets back to some better numbers soon. Cute about her blocking the heat vent - they're so perfectly cat-sized who can blame them, clearly they are there specifically to be tummy-warmers :lol:

Good luck figuring out China's dose. She may need to go back up for a little bit to get her going again. I've had to do that with Furball a couple of times. :lol: on the foot warmer.

Mary Grace does the same thing about laying on the vent, does it in the summer too. Thanks goodness civiess don't or I would have no air circulation!! :lol:

Woo Hoo!! If I do say so myself!

At least she's coming down to more reasonable numbers for China! Now the goal is to keep her there!! I don't worry about going OTJ...I just want her tightly regulated and feeling like she's getting shots of water from the Fountain of Youth instead of Lantus

Surf safely Twice and Mocha and Oliver...China may still have a PJ party in mind..If she does, I'll bring the brownies!!

hmm. I guess if you get really cold you'll have to get her a warming cat pad just so you can have the vent back. :lol:

Come on China.... dip those toes into some greens.....

I'm contemplating a dental for Neko too. Fortunately the specialist is close by, but their web site does a very good job at avoiding the FAQ question "how much does a dental cost?". :roll:

Yeah, funny how that works, isn't it??

Just from others who've had one lately, I'm getting the idea that a decent dental, with xrays and an extraction or two runs "about" $500 with more extractions or more complicated things adding to that.

That's only $498.50 more than I have right now :lol:
