Miss China continues to throw her mama for a loop now and then (108 at PMPS last night) but she also continues to impress!! :D:D:D

As long as she stays in normal numbers, I guess I should try to relax, but after so long, it's just really hard!! (well, that and being a bit neurotic.....LOL)

Got to see my only grandchild yesterday!! It's a long story, but basically, my son is "punishing" me and doesn't ever let me know when they're going to be in the area to visit my mom, but I found out that he, his wife and Aspen had come down from Kansas City to take her out to lunch yesterday......so I sat across the street from the facility until they came back!! I hadn't seen her for almost 3 years (and she's only 5) so it was really nice to see how much she'd grown. She sure is a smart little thing too!!

Wish we had "grandparent's rights" here in Missouri, but everything I've read says only if they're divorced.

Hope you've all had a good weekend and your kitties are feeling wonderful!!

Seems to be a trend. My best friend was forbidden to see her 2 grandchildren, basically because her son didn't think she was giving him enough extra money. We never know what we've birthed.

Cats are far more reliable, and I'm glad China's :cat::D:Din green!
 
FD makes us neurotic, I felt/feel the same with George if I get a blue number.
I'm so happy China is doing so well.

I'm glad you got to see your granddaughter, but I'm sorry things are difficult with your son.:bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
China continues to wow us all. Don't stop being you, China! :D

So sad that your son is punishing his daughter, as well as you. She needs to know her grandmother. I hope he sees reason one day soon. :bighug: I'm glad you got to see her.
 
Glad China continues to do well. I understand your frustration with that blue number. Funny, last night I told my husband that I was slightly disappointed with Gizmo's 116 (when only a few days ago, I would have been ecstatic for any number in blues). :rolleyes::p

So sorry about not being able to see your granddaughter. I hope your son realizes that he is only hurting his daughter and mends the relationship if only for her sake. Glad you were able to get to see her.

So sorry to hear that your son is keeping your granddaughter away from you. How hard to understand some people's actions and the reasons for them. I'm glad you got to see her.

Oh Chris, I have a similar issue with my son and grandchildren. Fortunately, my granddaughter lives with her mother and step dad and they are lovely to me and I get to see her every few months by coordinating with them. My grandson lives with my son and his mother ( they aren't married) so I don't get to see him as much although Henry's mom sends me photos all the time. She is a also very sweet and loving to me.

My son is an alcoholic and active and not reasonable. It's all so very sad.
 
I have similar stories with my stepdaughter. We haven't seen her in 11 years and she just turned 14. That's sad.

China is looking wonderful! :D
