Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry guy this morning with all 5 p's present. It was a cold weekend here (just like everywhere it seems). We were super busy so Tarragon hung out in his fort under the ottoman for most of the weekend. He was full of headbutts and hugs when we were around.

Happy short week! I am only at tbp today and tomorrow then 5 days off. Woohoo!!!

OT: Race weekend went well in Tulsa other than the bitter cold temps. I ran a 5K with by BFF on Saturday, which was her first. It was about 30 and 25 mile an hour winds. Yesterday was the half / full marathon and was 23 with a windchill of 15 the whole time. I have been battling a gluteus minimus injury for the past couple of months and it came on in full force at mile 3. I spent 5 minutes getting a massage at the first aid tent and went on to finish the race 2 minutes faster than my last half two weeks ago. Mason beat his by 20 minutes. Brian did really great in the full marathon but was literally frozen when he got done.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

Nice start Tarragon: Sunny yellow, looking for the blues. Good job on the headbutts and the snuggles. Keep those coming!

oh WOW on the race, and the temps! That is cold. Congrats though on your times. That is cool. I can only imagine how frozen DH must have been after that. It's one thing to run in the cold, quite another when the winds are up like that. Kudos to all of you!

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Great Tarragon report! Sure misses his beans when they're gone :-D
Brrrr....sounds like the weather didn't make your marathons any easier, but maybe inspired you to finish quicker! ;-) I imagine the cold didn't help your injury tho! Great for Mason finishing so quick! And poor DH freezing :o You are obviously a very active family. So inspiring! Have a great 2 day work week!!!!

Yay for a happy, purry kitty this morning. Wow on the temps during your races. That's great everyone was able to finish in that weather.

Yay for happy furry purry! Excellent news on the races - and yikes on those temps, though! I hope you guys are thawed and recovered by now...I would imagine being that cold takes even more of a post-race toll. Have a great day, Melissa!

Hi Melissa. Glad all is well with Tarragon. It's neat that he has his own fort.

Congratulations on your run. Setting a personal best with an injury is really good. Sounds like Mason and Brian had excellent runs as well. You're so fortunate that the races are enjoyed by the entire family.

Have a great day Melissa.

Hi Tarragon & Melissa! Stay warm and enjoy the fort, T! It's nice down here in Florida! ;-)

Congrats on your awesome marathons in the freezing weather! eeeekkkk!!!! I'm very impressed with all of you...you, Mason, Brian & BFF. Good job!

Congrats on the great times and on Mr T's WCR!
